Chapter 31

JESS’S POV

‘Jess let me explain,’ Jai pleaded.

‘Let you explain what? That you don’t trust me, and that you think I’m willing to cheat on you? Do you think our relationship means nothing to me Jai?’ I said welling up a little.

‘No Jess it’s just…..’ Jai replied but he paused, hesitated.

‘That’s it Jai, you don’t have an answer do you?’ I was angry now, ‘Jai please if you don’t have anything to say just hang up, I don’t want to go through this right now,’ I sighed.

‘Just let me in,’ Jai said, I was confused, what the hell did he mean?

‘What do you mean Jai?’

‘Open the front door and let me in so I can explain,’ Jai said calmly.

‘Wait so you’re here?’ I asked, standing up and making my way to the door, leaving my phone on the bed. I opened the door to find Jai standing in the freezing cold outside, he was panting hard. I frowned at him and let him in. We didn’t talk we walked straight to my room and sat on my bed. I sat leaning on the wall, Jai sat crossed legged opposite me. ‘Jess you have to understand my situation, this is hard for me,’ he said looking me in the eyes; I started to cry a little.

‘Jai you don’t think this is hard for me too? This is all new to me. You’re my first well everything!’ I sobbed I didn’t like fighting with him. ‘Jess, girls use us, the five of us, girls use us for our fame,’ Jai sighed. ‘For some reason girls use me more. I have the most issues with girls just getting with me for well the Janoskians. I have no idea why they decide to use me more than the other boys, but they do.’ He welled up a little, I grabbed his hand.

‘I’m sorry that girls see you that way and I think it’s absolutely awful that you get treated that way. But I still deserve,’ Jai cut me off, ‘You still deserve respect and trust, I know.’ We both smiled, Jai moved closer and gave me a hug. ‘I’m sorry and I should have known better,’ Jai said kissing me on the forehead. I smiled and Jai moved to sit next to me, I rested my head on his shoulder and sighed. ‘I love you,’ I said to Jai.

‘I love you too,’ Jai said giving my hand a squeeze. We had made it through our first proper fight, what an achievement I thought to myself.

Jai and I sat together for ages, just enjoying each other’s company I guess. Jai’s phone broke the silence; he sat up and looked at me. ‘I’ve got to get going,’ Jai said giving me another hug before making his way to the door. ‘See you tomorrow beautiful,’ Jai said shutting the door behind him.

JAI’S POV
I made my way home, it was absolutely freezing. I was almost home, I was going to go straight to my room, I wasn't really hungry and I definitely didn't want to talk about it. I was so annoyed with myself for thinking that, but it was just instinct to me now, I had been hurt so many times before.
I opened the door and quietly made my way to my room. I managed to sneak past everyone; I quickly got changed and got into my bed. Luke walked in, 'he's home,' he called walking into our room. Luke turned on the light and sat at the desk. 'Jai I’m not an idiot,' Luke said. I continued to fake sleep, I really didn't want to talk especially to Luke. Being twins it’s impossible to hide anything from him. Luke was getting annoyed, 'ouch,' I yelled as something hit my leg. Luke had thrown his shoe at me, I sat up and sighed. 'So what happened?' Luke inquired. 'It was her brother,' I said laughing at my mistake. 'Wait so the guy was Louis?' Luke asked, I replied with a nod. 'She was so pissed at me Luke, and I feel horrible but, it's just hard you know?' Luke nodded,
'I know what you mean Jai, so are you guys okay?'
'yeah,' I said with a smile, 'we worked it all out.

‘Good,’ Luke said, ‘you two are good for each other,’ I smiled. ‘Well you can sleep now; I just had to get it out of you.’ Luke said grabbing his shoe back off my bed. I sat up, 'hey Luke could you pass me my laptop?' I asked pointing at the Mac sitting in the corner of the room. Luke nodded and passed it over, 'not calling it a night yet?' Luke asked with chuckle, picking up his own laptop. 'Nah, I haven’t been on twitter forages.' Luke and I spent a fair bit of time on our laptops before calling it a night.

-The next day-

JAI'S POV

Today was just another day; we had slipped into a routine now. We only had a day left after today, and then we would be on holidays. I'm not quite sure if I’m looking forward to the holidays yet, it’s sort of hard to just pop down to the shops now, someone always wants a picture or to chat, I dont mind it’s just I miss that I guess. But I know I’m looking forward to spending heaps of time with Jess. Beau, Luke and I were still thinking of something really good to buy mum for Christmas, at the moment we're stuck for ideas. I also want to buy Jess something, I have no idea what but.
Mum had left for work early today so this gave the three of us a good opportunity to discuss ideas. I made myself some toast and sat at the table, Beau and Luke were already sitting down with their breakfast. 'So anyone come up with any good ideas go mum?' I asked looking at my brothers.
'Not yet,' Luke said, continuing to eat his cereal.
'Well I did have one idea,' Beau said putting down what he was eating. 'What if we bought her a new car?' he said with a smile spreading across his face.
'That’s a great idea Beau, but I don't have $10000 dollars handy to spend on a car,' I said having some more to eat, Luke nodded. 'Yeah I know but between us we can come up with almost $1000?'
'yeah that’d be about right,' Luke replied.
'But what about the other 10000?' I asked I wasn't trying to be critical; I was just tried to be realistic. 'Well only mum and I know about it but we've got another account. We haven't been dividing up all of the money we've made off YouTube and from our sponsors.' Luke and I shared a surprised glance.
'There’s a lot of money in there, all we going to do with it was wait to give it to you,' Beau said before having a drink. 'So we won't get much money for ourselves but we'd be getting mum a car.' I nodded, we owed mum everything, she was the one that supported us in whatever we wanted to do, no matter how stupid it may have been. I nodded at Beau, we were finally going to be able to give back to her, the only thing was I'm going to struggle to afford a present for Jess. I'll work it out though. 'Yes,' I said with a grin, 'let's do it. When can we go check out cars?'

‘Afterschool?’ Luke suggested, Beau nodded, he didn’t have to work today. I hesitated, Jess had Physical Therapy today and I was meant to be going with her. ‘I just need to call Jess,’ I said grabbing out my phone and leaving the room.
