Chapter 27

JAI’S POV

The tweets coming through on UStream where the usual, when a few started to catch my eye. ‘How’s Jess?’, ‘Is Jess there?’ I smiled a little looking through them. I looked up to see Jess smiling at her phone; she was obviously looking at them too. ‘Get over here Jess,’ Beau said shuffling over on the couch. She made her way over and sat down between Beau and I. ‘Hi everyone,’ she waved. ‘How many views are we at?’

‘5,000,000’ Beau replied, he loved to exaggerate.

‘5,000, that’s pretty good.’ She said laughing at Beau. We spent another 10ish minutes before finishing it off, we all enjoyed it and had a good laugh.

It was still early in the day, ‘Do we want to make a video today?’ Beau asked looking around. Luke and I nodded, so I grabbed out my phone. ‘I’ll give James a call, does someone want to give Skip a call.’ I said as the phone dialled. Beau gave Skip a call and he smiled. ‘He’s on his way,’ Beau said putting his phone on the table.’

‘So is James,’ I said smiling. I was really excited, we hadn’t done anything is ages. We just hung around waiting, after 10 minutes there was a knock at the door. Skip and James walked through the door one after another, ‘Hey!’ I said letting them in. ‘So what’s the plan?’ James asked taking a seat, Skip and James said hello to the boys and Jess before we all settled down. ‘Um… I don’t know another game of Dare of Dare?’ I suggested and when I looked I saw everyone nodding; this was going to be good. Luke went and grabbed our camera, he looked at Jess and she nodded, so he handed her the camera. She got it open and pointed it at us, ‘Dare or Dare?’ I asked Luke, I was already laughing at the idea. ‘Um…. It’s a tough choice, but I’m going to go with….. Dare.’ Luke said with a smirk, everyone in the room was laughing now. ‘I dare you to…. Do what I had to do, go jump in the Yarra.’ Everyone laughed before Beau piped up,

‘That’s an awesome idea; we’ll do each other’s dares from last time!’ We all looked around; this was going to be awesome… I just hope Skip doesn’t do me. We filmed us daring each other before going to the city, so Luke went next, ‘Skip dare or dare?’Luke asked, turning to face Daniel.

‘Dare,’ Skip replied.

‘I dare you to go hump a horse!’ We all laughed. Skip looked around before setting his eyes on Beau.

‘Beau dare or dare?’ Skip asked with a massive grin, we all knew what was coming.

‘Dare,’ Beau said with a sigh.

‘I dare you, Beau Brooks to walk around the shops in nothing but your undies.’ Skip laughed; Beau looked around for a target he turned and looked at James. ‘Dare or Dare?’

‘Dare,’ James replied. ‘Ugh this is going to be so gross!’ He said with a smile, he knew what was coming.

‘I dare you to pour milk over your head in front of a crowd.’ Finally James set his eyes on me.

‘So Jai, what’ll it be dare or dare?’

‘Dare,’ I said with a chuckle.

‘I dare you to go to behind the counter at Hungry Jacks and make yourself a soft serve.’ I chuckled…. This was going to be interesting. We all grabbed our stuff and headed for the door, Beau drove Jess and the rest of us caught the train in.

We met up with them at Fed Square; we walked to Seven Eleven and bought some milk, there was quite a crowd gathered at the Urban Garden so we made our way over, James walked to the middle of the crowd, took off his hat and poured the milk on his head. The crowd went silent, Beau, Skip, Jess, Luke and I laughed so loud, breaking the silence. As we walked down the road we saw a horse and cart pulled over, ‘Off you go Daniel!’ Luke said with a chuckle. We watched Skip from across the road. He ran back over to find us all in hysterics. ‘C’mon Luke the river’s calling your name.’ Jess said pointing in the direction on the river. We walked down, Luke stood on the edge looking to the river. ‘I think I changed my mind.’ Luke said turning to face us, then *SPLASH*. I pushed him in. We all cracked up laughing, Luke didn’t look impressed at all when he got out, but we couldn’t stop laughing. We got on a tram up to Melbourne Central and Beau got changed, he had to run around and couldn’t spend too long in the shops cas he was attracting a massive crowd of girls, so we got out of there pretty fast. ‘Anyone feel like some Hungry Jacks?’ I said pointing across the road. We walked over, everyone ordered then ate. I walked up to the counter and walked behind it, I grabbed a cup and started getting some ice-cream. I got a fair bit before someone came and asked me what I was doing, ‘Self serve?’ I said pointing at the cup. ‘No no we don’t do that.’ I looked around,

‘Omg, I’m so embarrassed. I thought this was self serve,’ I said walking back to join the others. I took the ice-cream with me and we walked back out. ‘That was fun,’ I said as we walked back to Fed Square. Beau drove Jess home and we caught the train home.

At home Luke jumped straight onto his laptop to edit the video.
