Chapter 9

Yume's POV
Flashback
"Yume, promise me that you will follow your dreams, arra?""Ne!You must also do your best too!"A boy smiled before me, which never fails to lift up my spirits and also put a smile to my face.
"Pinky promise?"I asked naively."Hehe. You are so childish!"He laughed warmly, but his smile never faded as nevertheless, he still put out his pinky to lock our promise.
"Yume. I will fight it for you. So, you must always smile for me, ne?"His angelic voice was music to my ears."Arraso!"I nodded profusely, smiling brightly.
However, happy times don't remain forever. That was when it turned downhill...
Flashback end

"Ah!"I woke up, drenched in sweat.'Why did I dream of him? Oppa-ah, bogoshipo...'I thought as I wiped the tears that were slowly rolling down my cheeks.'Yume, stop being an emotional wreck! Stop missing him!'I mentally scolded, but knew that I would still miss him.

~School~
I was walking along the hallways as student glanced at me, whispering loudly as if I was deaf."How did she get into all 3 clubs?""She must have bribed our oppas""She is a devil, she even have the teachers played around in her palm!"

I ignored all the harsh comments, acting oblivious to them. Although I was putting up a tough image, I was actually breaking slowly on the inside. I plugged my earpieces into my ears, but didn't play any songs. The whispers got louder as the students became more daring, spreading nasty comments and rumours about me. I simply nodded my head, as if listening to a song, but on the inside, I was struggling to prevent myself from crying, there were no sounds from my earpieces, but I can clearly hear the sound of my heart, slowly breaking apart.

"Ya! What's with you people? Why are you talking bad about Yume!?" A strong voice was heard from behind, I quickly turned to see JeongHan oppa standing with SEVENTEEN and BTS.

All the chattering stopped abruptly, scared to see the always smiling man, Yoon JeongHan, so furious. "But oppa, that nerd got you played around on her hands!"A random girl shouted out."She got all of you under her control!" Another girl added.

"Who said I am your oppa? I only have one yeodongsaeng now and ever!"JeongHan hissed. Chaos broke out among the students as they can't believe that JeongHan had a sister. "Wae? Since when you have a sister?"A fan girl asked angrily.

"I always have had a sister." JeongHan said like it was super obvious. "Kaja. Yume." JeongHan reached out to me and said softly, smiling slightly. I nodded my head and went with JeongHan.

~Lunch~
Rumours spread like wild fire as students suspect Yume as JeongHan's sister. As Yume sat alone at a table, wanting to have some personal space from the rowdy boys of SEVENTEEN, waiting for YuNa to come.

A group of super obsessive fan girls approached Yume, smirking. "Ya! Don't be too arrogant now! Everybody listen up!" All attention was instantly focused onto them,"We challenge you to a dance and music battle! If we win, you will transfer school. If you agree to this, there's no backing up! However if you don't want to agree, you are a coward!(A/N: idk what I am writing, there isn't even a choice for Yume😂)"

SEVENTEEN were worried about Yume, after all, one wrong decision can bring drastic changes. Yume was silent a while before speaking up, loudly so everyone can hear," I am not a coward, I accept your challenge. How about having it later? And I demand that the whole school shall watch it, it will be entertaining for them, won't it?"An amused smile was playing on my lips."Deal!"
