Chapter 25

This is the most chapters I've ever produced in a book, let's celebrate! Wooo, I'm so lame.

Anyway... enjoy the chapter.

I stood frozen in my place. My hands are shaking, my knees are buckling and my palms are getting sweaty. I was like a deer frozen in headlights.

I had two options, to stay and be forced to live here and face whatever consequence I had coming, or I could run, probably miss the bullet, but he would follow me until he finds me and the consequences will be undeniably worse.

I shifted onto one the other leg, because it began cramping and getting heavy.

He raised the guy even higher. He pointed it directly at my head. "Stay there." His finger lowering on the trigger.

I didn't know what to do at this moment. I have been in this situations plenty of times, with my mothers drug dealer. But this time was so different, my own father was pointing a deadly weapon at my head.

I believe he actually would pull the trigger, he has no sympathy. He's harsh and quite scary and he'll do absolutely anything for his business.

Every second after learning about him not being my actual father, it's starting to look better. I'm grateful that he's not my real father now.

He hasn't attempted to move any closer to me, which helps my breathing steady a little more. My heart is racing a million miles a second.

I feel like I'm on the verge of passing out, I'm feeling extremely light headed currently. I wouldn't mind passing out right now, because I wouldn't have to deal with what's about to happen, or he could just lay a bullet right in the middle of my forehead; saves me from having to choose.

I look between Linda and Ivan. Linda has the most scared face out of all of all. She was shaking tremendously, she looked as if she was going to faint any second, she was clearly feeling the same way I was. All colour had been drained out of her face.

I felt awful, my father had caused this and yet she still loves him. My father probably doesn't care about her, he only cares about his business and that's never going to change, I know that for certain. He is heartless.

While Ivan is telling me to run. I know if I run, he'll grab his mom and take her with him. If they don't make it out, while I do, I will come back and get them; I promise you that.

"Are you going to just stand there Ivory?" He smirked and stepped closer, keeping the gun at eye level.

"Well obviously if you have that death machine pointed right at me." I declared.

He chuckled. "Good girl, now I'm coming closer and if you dare run; I will have someone chase you and I won't hesitate to ask them to murder you."

Tears welled up in my eyes. My knees began to buckle; I couldn't hold myself up correctly. I placed a hand on the door frame to steady myself.

It's sad because I don't doubt he'll do that. He is a man of his word and in this case, I wish he wasn't.

I wish this damn company didn't exist. Life would be a lot simpler without it. I wouldn't be standing in this situation right now. I wouldn't have to worry about making the wrong decision and he dents my head with a metal Bullet.

He took one step closer to me. He kept his eyes trained on me, not daring to lower the gun; he is smart in some cases; because once he lowers that gun, I'm running out of here and faster than I've ever ran before.
