Chapter 29
"I swear on my mothers grave Ivan! I didn't do this!" I exclaimed."Ivan, we didn't do it." His mother confessed.
Here we were, arguing for quite a while about this stupid mess up on national television. There's not much we can do about it; we will for sure need to move out of the country.
And think about how my father feels right now, he's probably beyond pissed and is looking even harder to find us and if he does, this mishap caused it to be 10 times worse than it originally was.
His investors are dropping like flies and I'm a hundred percent positive he's not okay with that.
He slowly nods my head. "Okay, I believe you."
"Really?" I asked shocked. I thought it would take a lot more persuading, like a dinner or movie night.
He chuckled. "It's pretty obvious it wasn't you Ivory. People are just blaming you because you happen to be there wrong place, wrong time and wrong outfit supposedly."
I sighed. "Yeah, but just because you can tell that, doesn't mean others will." I leaned back on the couch.
"It's because people don't like your father and they will try to find as much dirt on him as possible and this gave them the easy route."
I gripped my hair in frustration and threw my hands on either side of the couch. Why does everything bad have to happen one after the other?
"Well we're in luck. I have found a place we're going and it's the other side of the world. We have a plane ride in three days and we'll have to stay in the house until then."
I smiled still shaking. I was beyond scared. "That's great. Hopefully nothing happens till then, but considering my luck that's a slim chance." I replied thruthfully.
He pouted "Dont Jinx it."
I shrugged. "Can we go get some food, I'm absolutely starved."
Ivan focused his attention to the television and started switching through channels. He doesn't even bother looking up at me. "Pizzas in the oven."
I nodded and strolled over to the kitchen. I open the oven and pull out the pizza box. I take out two of the remaining 4 pieces. Leaving the rest for Linda, when she wants it.
I heat the pizza in the microwave for a couple seconds and make my way up to my room.
I take out my laptop and go onto the latest show I was watching on Netflix. I finish the pizza and a couple episodes, when I feel sleep towering over me.
I close my laptop and place it on my nightstand and shut off the lights. Allowing sleep to access all over my body. I shifted to a relaxing sleep, until the nightmares came tumbling in...

"I found you finally." Someone whispered into my ear.
All the hair on my body stands up and a gust of wind glazes me body. I slowly turn around and I'm met with a familiar and terrifying face.
"I'm so sorry, it wasn't me." I whimpered. He had his hand wrapped around my wrist and his nails digging into my skin. They will definitely be leaving a mark
He chuckled darkly. "It doesn't matter if it was you or not. The people believe it was you and so you're taking the blame. You have caused my company to lose thousands of dollars and sweety.. that's not acceptable."
