Chapter 34

We hopped in the back of the limo and I went directly beside Ivan. He gave me a confused look and I just shrugged him off.

Everyone was quiet, but sending each other death glares. My mother was sending Linda some harsh glares and vice versa. Ivan was sending Linda some as well. Adam and the other guy were staring at each other, not friendly stares and I'm not quite sure why.

The car began to drive and I relaxed into the seat. Ivan grabbed my hand and I rested my head on his shoulder. Another 2 hour drive, here we come.

"You know, what you did out there; when you took control, was extremely hot." He says through the silence.

I laughed. "Well I did it for us. We aren't going to get pushed around anymore."

"It was incredible, I think I fell for you a little more during that and I didn't even know it was possible."

I chuckled. "What a flirt."

My father interrupted our conversation. "Well this changed everything, so now we need to discuss what's happening with the business now."

"Right now?" Ivan whined.

My father shot him a glare. "Yes. You can back out now if you want, I really only needed Ivory." He admits.

Ivan's sighs and rests his head on my shoulder. He doesn't bother to listen to the topic going around the car.

"So, first off; we need to pick a location for the new business; that Ivory will be owning." He smiled proudly.

"I'm thinking it could be down by the docks, where the beaches are. It's a perfect spot in my opinion and besides they don't have a diner down there." I retaliate.

My father contemplated it for a second. "Yeah, that would be a good place."

"I think we need a warehouse, for when all the animatronics age damaged they could go there and Ivory and I can work on them." Ivan joins he conversation.

"That's a good idea Richard, especially the fact that we're opening up many locations, we need more people to build the animatronics." Adam persuades him.

"And, I want to design all new animatronics." I announce.

Adam turns to me. "So you don't want Jynx?" He says with a little excitement.

I shook my head. "No. I still want her; she'd be the perfect addition to my new- soon to be team." I smile wickedly.

"Of course she would be." He murmurs under his breath. I thought about questioning it, but I just let it go; it's not that big of a deal.

"I think it's a really good idea. Ivory, we could work together and make this business 10 times better.

I smile and nod my head. This business was going to get an upgrade and it'll make even more business than before.

My father hollers to the driver to stop the vehicle. He slams on the breaks and we jolt it of our seat. I nearly clash heads with Adam who was across from me.

I looked out the window and we were in the middle of no where. It seemed to be a dessert. The sand flying everywhere and tumbleweeds were spotted in the distance.

I have no clue why he had stopped, but I'm or about to interrogate him, I know my limits. I just wish we could get this on with and get home.

"Why'd you do that?" Adam said annoyed.

He ignored Adams protests and looked over to Linda. "So I've been thinking Linda.."
