"Mom, Dad, I decided what I'm gonna do next year." Eighteen year old Noah said to Quinn and Puck.

Quinn glanced at Puck before looking back at their son. "You picked a college?"

Noah looked at Puck. "Actually, I'm gonna join the Air Force like Dad did."

Quinn furrowed her eyebrow. "What about school?"

"I'm too dumb for college." Noah stated. "I'd rather do something that means more to me."

"But the Air Force is so dangerous." Quinn pointed out.

"Dad did it." Noah argued.

Quinn nodded. "And he got hurt."

Puck looked at Quinn. "It wasn't that bad."

"Wasn't that bad?" Quinn responded. "You nearly died."

"But I didn't." Puck pointed out. "Noah will be fine. He's a Puckerman."

"He's not you." Quinn muttered as she stood up.

"Mom, wait." Noah said.

Quinn shook her head as she walked out of the room.

Quinn sat on her bed and thought about her oldest kid being in the Air Force. Out of the three boys, Noah was the one who was most cut out for it. The Air Force didn't interest fifteen year old Logan, ten year old Jonah wasn't old enough to be thinking about his future yet, and four year old Bridget was too young to even understand what being in service meant.

Someone knocked on Quinn's door, and the door opened slowly.

"Hey." Puck said as he came in and closed the door behind him. "You alright?"

Quinn nodded. "I'm fine."

Puck shook his head and sat down on the edge of Quinn's bed. "Do you remember what I told you the night I told you that I joined the Air Force?"

"You promised me that you'd come home in one piece." Quinn replied.

"And I did." Puck said with a smile. "Noah's gotta go for what he wants. He's not a kid anymore, Quinn."

"He's still my kid." Quinn reminded Puck.

"Our kid." Puck corrected her.

"Our kid." Quinn repeated. "How long have you known about this?"

Puck furrowed his eyebrow.

"We're not married. You don't have to tell me everything." Quinn said.

"A few months." Puck guessed.

Quinn's eyes widened.

Quinn knew it was hard on the kids when she and Puck got divorced. It was hard on her, too, because she loved him more than anything. Noah always chose Puck over Quinn, and Quinn just wished all of her kids were equally as open with her and with Puck.

"He'll be graduating in a month and then he's off." Puck informed Quinn. "And he's gonna be fine. Do you know how I know that?"

"How?" Quinn wondered.

Because he has a beautiful, smart mother and a freaking stud for a father." Puck replied.

Quinn couldn't help but grin.

Puck smirked. "He has more common sense than I did at eighteen and he's smarter, so he won't get into any of the stupid shit that I got into."

"Remember when you hurt your shoulder?" Quinn asked. "And when you called me to tell me, my water broke."

"And I got home right as baby Logan was born." Puck nodded.

Quinn smiled. "And you couldn't even hold him because you were in so much pain and you had that damn sling on."

"Yeah." Puck smiled back. He sighed. "We did good with each of them, Fabray."

"We really did." Quinn agreed.
