"Beth, Mommy and Daddy wanna tell you something." Puck began. "Can you come sit on the couch, please?"
Beth nodded slowly as she followed Puck to the living room. She climbed onto Puck's lap when he was seated beside Quinn.
"Remember how Mommy was throwing up?" Puck asked as he took Quinn's hand.
Beth nodded as she looked at Quinn.
"Mommy was sick because she's gonna have a baby." Puck informed Beth.
Beth furrowed her eyebrow. "When?"
"In December." Quinn said nervously.
"You're gonna be a big sister." Puck added as he gently squeezed Beth's shoulder.
"No." Beth shook her head. "I don't want to."
Quinn frowned and bit her lip.
"Beth, you're gonna have a baby sister." Puck told Beth.
"I don't want a baby sister." Beth whined as she started crying.
"Come on, this is a good thing." Puck said as he put Beth on his lap and glanced at Quinn. "Aunt Sarah is my baby sister, and Mommy has a big sister and she's the baby sister."
Beth shook her head as she kept crying. "I don't want a baby sister."
"Why not?" Puck asked.
"'Cause I only want Mommy and Daddy." Beth cried. "Nobody else."
"Beth, you're gonna love your sister. She'll be your best friend." Quinn added softly.
Beth shook her head as she squirmed out of Puck's arms and ran off.
