I went to the city today and there was a crying baby on the subway this morning and this is what I came up with lollll i suck

-

"Grace, give me the cup. We're gonna start moving." Puck told his daughter.

The small blonde shook her head and held the cup with her mouth while her hands held onto Quinn's arm.

As the train started moving, Puck gently took the cup from Grace. She started crying for it.

"Noah, it's 9 am." Quinn stated as she tried to calm the screaming two year old down. "Give her the cup so she doesn't annoy everyone."

"Grace." Puck said as he held the cup out to her. "Daddy has the cup. See?"

Grace buried her head against Quinn's shoulder while she cried.

Quinn stood up and tried to get Grace to calm down, ignoring the stares and whispers of the other people on the train.

"Beth, I hear you calling." Puck started singing softly. "But I can't come home right now. Me and the boys-"

"Not Beth." Quinn cut Puck off. "And not helping."

"Aaaaaamazing Grace, how sweet are you?" Puck sang.

"Those aren't the words." Quinn told Puck with a small smile.

"I have my guitar." Puck noted as he pulled it out from under the seat. He put it around his neck and started playing. "One love, one heart. Let's get together and feel all right."

Grace lifted her head off of Quinn's shoulder and watched her dad in awe.

Puck continued. "Hear the children crying. Hear the children crying."

Quinn smiled as Grace calmed down while she watched Puck.

"Saying: give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel all right." Puck grinned. "Saying: let's get together and feel all right. Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa."

By the end of the song, Puck had every single person in the train-car singing along, including Quinn, who was shaking her head and grinning from ear to ear.
