"Are you sure about this?" Quinn asked Puck.

"He needs a haircut, babe." Puck stated. "I swear if one more person tells me my daughter is cute, I'm gonna-"

"But what if it looks bad?" Quinn cut Puck off as she looked at their son.

"We'll be there to make sure they don't cut it too short or anything." Puck promised. "Besides, it'll grow back."

Quinn bit her lip.

"Maybe you should just let me take him myself." Puck stated. "If you're freaking out, he's gonna freak out."

"No, I can handle it." Quinn promised. "Let's just go."

Puck raised his eyebrow and nodded. "Why don't you take him outside while I lock up?"

"Okay." Quinn nodded back as she left the apartment with their son.

A few minutes later, Puck joined them in front of the apartment building.

"Alright." Puck said. "Let's go."

-

The Puckermans walked until they reached a hair salon.

"A salon?" Puck asked. "I thought we were taking him to the barber."

"I'm not letting some guy at a barbershop give our son his first haircut." Quinn said as she led the way inside.

Puck sighed as he followed Quinn into the salon.

The Puckermans were greeted by enthusiastic women who all wanted to see the baby.

"Hi, Quinn." A curly woman with auburn hair smiled as she approached the trio.

"Hi, Giselle." Quinn smiled back. "This is my boyfriend, Noah, and our son, Hudson."

"Nice to meet you." Giselle smiled at Puck and Hudson.

"You, too." Puck said.

"Your son has beautiful hair." Giselle said as she gently touched the long dirty-blonde hair. "Are you sure you wanna cut it?"

"He needs a haircut so people will stop thinking he's a girl." Puck replied.

"But not too short." Quinn added.

"Let's get him in a chair." Giselle decided as she set up a chair and looked at Quinn.

"Come on, Q." Puck said as he took Hudson from Quinn's arms and put him in the chair.

Giselle put the salon cape over Hudson and started spraying his hair with water. She grabbed her scissors and held onto the shoulder-length dirty-blonde hair.

Quinn was chewing on her lip as she watched Giselle make the first cut of Hudson's hair.

Puck took her hand and squeezed it. "He's fine, babe. Look."

On cue, Hudson started crying and squirming in the chair so Giselle stopped.

"Okay, he got a haircut." Quinn noted. "Let's just take him home."

"No, Quinn. He's almost two and never had a haircut. He's not leaving until it's all cut." Puck said.

"He's crying." Quinn pointed out as her phone started ringing.

"Why don't you go take care of that and I'll meet you at home?" Puck sighed as he looked at Hudson, who was still crying.

"But-"

"He's fine. Go." Puck commanded. "I'll meet you at home."

Quinn sighed as she exited the salon and went to answer her phone.

Puck took a deep breath and looked at Hudson, who wasn't calming down. Giselle looked on patiently.

"Hudson." Puck said softly as he looked at his son. "This nice lady is gonna give you a nice haircut."

Hudson shook his head as he looked at Puck.

"What about a fun haircut?" Puck suggested as he looked at Giselle.

-

When Hudson's haircut was finished, Puck took him back to the apartment.

"Babe, we're back!" Puck announced.

"Finally!" Quinn exclaimed as she entered the room. "I was gonna call you."

"Well, you had him all riled up and it took a while to get him to calm down." Puck stated.

"Let me see his hair." Quinn requested as she went to tug on the hoodie over Hudson's head.

"Wait." Puck said as he moved out of the way. "Let him show you. He's really excited."

"Okay." Quinn nodded as she sat down on the couch.

Puck put Hudson down and sat down on the other couch, facing Quinn.

"Hudson, show Mommy your new hair." Puck said.

Hudson smiled proudly at Quinn as he took the hood off.

Quinn's eyes widened as she looked at the mohawk on her young son's head.

"Noah." Quinn said. "What did you do?"

"I got his haircut taken care of." Puck stated.

"No, you cut his beautiful hair into a hideous mohawk." Quinn responded. "You were supposed to have it trimmed! Not shaved into a mohawk!"

"Quinn, he-"

"Seriously, Noah!" Quinn cut Puck off. "A mohawk?!"

"He loves it, Quinn." Puck stated. "Look at him."

Quinn frowned as she looked at their son again. Hudson was smiling and giggling happily.

Even Quinn had to admit, her son looked cute in his father's signature hair style.

"He looks like you." Quinn said softly, turning back to Puck.

Puck nodded slowly.

"And it'll grow back." Quinn noted.

"It'll grow back." Puck repeated.
