"Hey." Quinn said when Puck answered the phone. "Are you busy today?"

"I'm at Finn's place. What's up?" Puck wondered.

"I have to run an errand." Quinn said. "And I was hoping that you'd come with me."

"Are you going to Shelby's for Beth's birthday? 'Cause they're away." Puck told Quinn.

"No, it's something else." Quinn responded. "Can you come or not?"

"Sure." Puck gave in as he got up from Finn's couch. "I'll meet you at your place?"

"I'm outside." Quinn responded as she hung up.

"Finn, I'm leaving!" Puck called as he pocketed his wallet and put his shoes on before walking out of the apartment.

"Hey." Quinn said when she saw Puck.

"Hey." Puck repeated. "Everything okay?"

"Yeah." Quinn stated. "You?"

"Yeah." Puck nodded. "What errand do you have to run?"

"You'll see." Quinn said as she walked away.

Puck followed Quinn. The walk was mostly silent with Quinn leading the way.

Quinn paused when they reached a tattoo parlor.

"You're getting a tattoo?" Puck asked.

Quinn ignored the question and went inside.

Puck followed Quinn.

"Hi, I'm Quinn Fabray. I called, like, a week ago. I have an appointment with Alex." Quinn told the girl at the counter.

"Sure, I'll go grab him." The girl said as she walked away.

"Q, you're getting a tattoo?" Puck asked softly. "Did you think about this at all? Or is this another impulsive Ryan Seacrest thing?"

"Shut up and just be here." Quinn told Puck.

"Quinn? I'm Alex." A guy with tattoo sleeves said. "You can follow me."

Quinn followed the brunette through the tattoo parlor.

Puck followed Quinn and sat down out of the way.

"So, here's the design." Alex said. "Did you decide where you want it?"

"The inside of my arm." Quinn nodded. "Like by my elbow."

"Alright." Alex nodded back. "Let's lay it down and see."

"I like it." Quinn noted when the stencil was on her arm. "Noah, what do you think?"

"What?" Puck asked.

"Stop zoning out and come look at it." Quinn commanded.

Puck got up and stood beside Quinn, looking at her arm. He paused when he saw the bumblebee with the letter B on one of its wings. "Is that for Beth?"

Quinn nodded slowly. "Do you like it?"

Puck turned to the tattoo artist. "Do you think you could draw that same thing a little bigger?"

"Yeah, give me one sec." Alex said as he excused himself.

Puck looked at Quinn. "Is that okay with you?"

"Yeah." Quinn smiled slightly. "Yeah, it is."

Alex returned with another stencil for Puck. He placed it on Puck in the same spot it was on Quinn.

"What do you guys think? Good?" Alex questioned them.

Puck looked at his arm and then at Quinn's. "Yeah, we're good."

"Okay, who's up first?" Alex wondered.

"Noah." Quinn said. "I don't want him chickening out."

"First tattoo?" Alex asked Puck as he put on gloves and started getting the ink and needles ready.

Puck shook his head and rolled his other arm's sleeve up to reveal his other tattoo. "I got this with my brother a few years ago."

"Nice." Alex nodded as he started tattooing Puck. "What about you?"

"She has a Ryan Seacrest tramp stamp." Puck answered.

"Really?" Alex asked as he paused and looked at Quinn. "You don't look like the type."

"She is." Puck nodded.

"Shut up, Noah." Quinn commanded.

When both of their tattoos were done, Alex wrapped them in plastic wrap and went over the care instructions (which they both knew from their previous tattoos), and then they paid and left.

"I'm really glad we did this." Quinn said. "I've been thinking about getting this since senior year."

"I love it." Puck replied as he looked at it through the plastic wrap. "I can't wait until it heals."

"Thanks for coming with me today." Quinn smiled. "And for getting it with me."

"Thanks for letting me." Puck said as he smiled back. He held his arm up. "Happy birthday, Beth."

"Happy birthday, Beth."
