Dear journal,
The first thing I noticed when we left the airplane, was the mountains in the distance. They were all around us, looming over our heads. And before we even got to the ocean, you could see its great blue mass on the horizon. It was spectacular. It's even better up close.
The waves are HUGE today! Eliza is too much of a chicken to walk through the freezing waters to get over to the waves, so I just went with Admin's little sibling.
Admin was so happy to see her grandparents, and this Friday we're going to go see her cousins at their farm! Thankfully, the beach house has internet that's really great! But we're leaving in a few days. The farm house doesn't have internet an Admin and I are worried we won't be able to communicate much after that.
Eliza seems down about something. I've asked her and she's just said she's homesick. Really? We just left! Maybe it's because the dog's name is Eddie. It's what I imagine Edward to look like as a dog too~
