I carried Everley out to my Jeep and put her in her car seat. I buckled her up, closed the door then ran to the drivers door. Once getting situated I turned on the car and pulled out of the parking lot. It was a pretty silent ride until E piped up and asked for music. I turned in the radio only for There's Nothing Holding Me Back to play. I was about to change the station when I heard her singing in the back so I decided to sing along with her.
"You sound like Sawn!" She said after the song ended.
"Really?" I looked back into the mirror to see her nodding vigorously. "Well maybe that's because I am Shawn who sings that song..."
"Weally!?" She asked quite excited.
"Yup." I heard her squeal in the back seat.
"You gonna be good dad!" After hearing that, there was a smile that could not be wiped away!
For the rest of the drive home the two of us sang songs and laughed when they were done.
