Ever since I had mentioned Nolan to Everley she has only been asking about him and when he is coming home to live with us. I was relieved she was excited but nervous for how she would react when the whole "it's not just me and I have to share" settles in.
When I got back home E was sleeping so I was able to get Nolan situated without having to deal with her craziness. Laila held the new addition to the family while I got him some new clothes, the onesie he was wearing I don't think counted as an actual article of clothing. I came back with a blue and white striped onesie. After changing him and just chilling and talking, Everley finally woke up. Her curls bounced as she ran into the kitchen preparing to jump and hug me. Her plans were halted as she saw the small figure in my arms.
"Dat Noen?"
"It is. You want to meet him?" Her eyes lit up as she quickly came towards me once again.
"This is your new brother Eve!" Laila said in her soft tone.
"I know I esited!" E was now standing above Nolan. His big brown eyes widened as he looked up into hers.
"Good luck Mendes." Laila said to me. She kissed me cheek and walked out the door.

Two freaking kids...
