Public appearance

The next morning I got a call from Andrew. He wanted me to do a few pop up shows around the country. I wasn't sure because I didn't want to put Everley into and uncomfortable situation since she was just starting to get comfortable. On the other hand I really didn't want to disappoint my fans. So I told him I would think about it and call him back later. After ending the call I started to get ready. I decided that me and Eve should go out to breakfast this morning and maybe go do something fun;considering we really haven't been out in public. After getting myself ready I helped Everley get ready as well. I put her in some blue leggings and a colorful, patterned dress long shirt thing. After she was ready I got everything I needed together and we were out the door.
We ended up going to a small cafe where there weren't too many people. I ordered my self a waffle and Eve insisted on getting her own pancakes. After eating I thought about where we should go. We could go to a park... or the aquarium or maybe a museum or something...
"Hey Everley."
"Yes daddy?"
"Do you want to go the park or the aquarium?"
"What's an aquarium?" She struggled to say.
"It's a place where you can see lots of different fishies!
"Like Nemo?" She asked excited. We had recently watched Finding Nemo together and she had become obsessed!
"Yes like Nemo."
"I want to go there!" She practically yelled from the backseat.
"The aquarium it is then!"

I payed to get in and Everley immediately asked to be picked up because of the amount of people. I did and she quickly wrapped herself as tight as she could around me.
"Everley I just want you to know that daddy is famous, and people might ask for pictures ok?" She gave me a weird look but just nodded her head once she saw some fish in a tank. We slowly walked through the exhibits Everley taking in each and every fish she saw. We were in the jungle area when I heard a squeal come from behind me.
"Oh.My.God! You're Shawn Mendes!" I whipped my head around to see a single teenage girl. I gave her a small smile before trying to walk away. My plans were stopped short when she asked for a picture. I agreed, but once Everley saw that there was another person she tensed up. I rubbed her back to comfort. Before the girl took the selfie I whispered in E's ear to smile. She did, the picture was taken and we were able to continue. This happened a few more times, every time Everleys smile got a bit bigger which made mine widen as well. We were close to the very end when E spotted a tank with a bunch of clown fish!
"NEMO!" She yelled. She tried to wriggle out of my grip. I set her down so she could run over to look at them.
"Dad that's a lot of Nemos."
"It is isn't it?"
"Yup!" We spent a few more minutes looking at the "Nemos" before she got bored. We got to the gift shop at the end, I let her look around for a few minutes. She ran off and I followed behind her only to find my little girl holding a stuffed Nemo.
"You want it?" She looked up at me and nodded.
"Ok." I grabbed it and payed. On the way home I looked into the back to find Everley passed out and hugging Nemo.
