First night

After a successful day of having Everley home I put her down to go to to sleep. I had to read her many, many bed time stories and snuggle with her before her eyes shut. I lay with her for a couple more minutes to make sure she was asleep until I got up. Before I left to go to my room I took a picture ofher and sent it to my mom, Laila, and some of the magcon guys that I keep in touch with. After I had gotten myself ready for bed I got underneath my covers and started to fall asleep. Right when I was about to go off into dream land I heard little feet come closer to my bed.
"D-da- Shawn?"
"Yes Everley?"
"I'm scawed, can I come sleep wit you?"
"I guess." I pulled her up and into my bed. She had brought a small stuffed elephant and a blanket that I had bought her.
"Do you like your new room?"
"Yes!"
"Good I'm glad."
"Did you name the elephant?"
"Yes his name is sprinkles."
"I love it!" A yawn escaped her mouth and I decided to pull her under the covers with me. She lay her head down and closed her eyes. I did the exact same thing. A couple seconds later I felt her scooch closer to me. Then after a couple more seconds she schooched closer again. Noticing that she was trying to snuggle closer to me, I wrapped my arms around and pulled her in. She curled into me and after a few minutes her breathing became even along with mine. I already love this little girl to pieces!
