No thoughts fill my head. A silent buzzing noise surrounds me. I can't feel my body.

I slowly open my eyes... only to see the same thing as before. Darkness. It surrounds me, consumes me, embraces me. But I am not scared.

I can't tell if my eyes are opened or closed anymore. Either way, I still see the same darkness. I don't know why.

A new sound suddenly enters my head, blocking out the buzzing noise. A rich, deep voice fills my every sense.

"Be yourself as you were before."

Be myself? As I was before? Before what? How do I even do that? What kind of an instruction is this?

"Please..."

The voice cracks, sounding so desperate, so broken. The stiffness in my limbs suddenly fades away, my body following my orders. I suddenly feel something in my big, empty head. I feel information flooding back to me. I know how to be myself. I can remember my personality now.

I sit up.

"Enoch...?" I whisper, my voice scratchy.

"Hey Y/N." Enoch whispers back and grasps my hand.

"Oh my god, Y/N..." A new voice says, heartbreak dripping in its sweet tones.

"Emma...?"

"Yeah, Y/N. I'm here."

Someone takes a deep breath and exhales strongly on my face. The air stings my eyes that for some reason, still refuse to see anything but darkness. Emma must have blown on me accidently, I think. Her peculiarity is air, after all. I reach up to rub my stinging eyes...

And my fingers pass straight through my empty eye sockets.
