Chapter 8

Can we all just take a moment and acknowledge how cute the twins look in this picture...

We walked for a little while before we came to an old dock. The view was breathtaking. There are mountains you can see so clearly and the water is so blue. Harvey walked to the end and sat down. "Harvey, why did you bring me here?" I asked him when I sat down. "I come here sometimes when I need to breathe. Whenever I get overwhelmed with everything. It's just so quiet and I figured, I'd share it with you, since you have much bigger things going on in your life." This was so nice of him. I looked at my reflection in the crystal clear water. "Thank you." I said. He chuckled. "For making me feel so much better these last few days." I said looking up at the mountains. He smiled and looked ahead at the view. We sat in silence for a little while. The view was gorgeous, and when the started going down, the sky turned beautiful shades of pink, purple and, orange. After about half an hour we decided to go home so Harvey's mom and dad wouldn't be worried.

We walked in silence all the way home. It got dark and the stars came out. I stopped walking and looked up. My dad always loved enjoying the stars. Harvey turned back and looked at me. "You coming?" He asked. "Hold on just a second." I muttered. I looked at the star that I always believed was my dad watching over me. "Hi Dad." I whispered. Harvey looked at the stars too. I sat down on the concrete and just watched them twinkle. I didn't notice for a little while that Harvey had sat down next to me. "Do you ever try to count them?" Harvey asked. Yep, that's definitely a Harvey question. "Yeah, I do." I replied smiling a bit. "Me and my dad used to have contests to see who could count the most." I said. Harvey smiled. "You and your dad were really close weren't you?" I smiled. "Me and my mom never really got along, and when she would yell at me for some random reason, he would be there. Helping me through it." I smiled and looked down. "You're an amazing person. You know that?" He asked. I smiled and shook my head. We shared some more laughter before we finally went inside. That night I got to thinking how nice and sweet Harvey is, and kind, and kind of cute, and funny, and considerate.... Hold up. No. I can't be. I think I'm falling for Harvey Kitt Mills...

Harvey Pov

I climbed into bed knowing I made someone feel so much better today. Autumn is a great person, she's nice, pretty, sweet and, caring. I smiled at the thought. Hmmm. I think I'm falling for Autumn McKayla Shay...

Hey Guys!!! Another chapter for you! I hope you like it. I'm on top of the WORLD right now!! You see, around December last year, my great aunt was diagnosed with brain cancer. Her and my family lost contact for the longest time, then earlier today, she called my mom and said, she's going into remission and is now completely cancer free!!! YAAAAYYYYYY!!!! I'm so happy!!
