I sat on the dock for a little while longer thinking about what Harvey's problem could be, I mean, he's never acted like that. I finally decided to walk home and when I did Max was waiting.
"Where have you been Love?" He asked.
"Just clearing my head."
"Oh, you okay?" He asked pulling me into a hug.
"Yeah I'm fine."
"You sure?"
"Yes Max." I said smiling. In reality I'm not fine, I want to know what's wrong with Harvey. I walked upstairs to his room and knocked on the door. I didn't hear a come in so I walked in.
"Harvey are you okay?"
"Did I say you could come in here?!" He yelled.
"Get out!" He screamed.
I felt a hot tear run down my cheek. I ran out of the room crying. How one minute he could be so nice, then the next he be a jerk? I just don't understand. I never did anything to him. I cried into my pillow for a while when I heard a knock on my door.
"Autumn, are you okay?" Max asked walking in.
I quickly tried to wipe away my tears but it was too late.
"What's the matter?" He asked sitting down next to me.
"What's wrong with Harvey?" I asked.
"I'm not sure, what'd he do?" He asked.
"Nothing, he's just acting strange." I said.
"Oh okay, but if he ever does anything to hurt your feelings, let me know okay?"
"Okay." I said. And he left. Harvey isn't okay, and I need to know what's wrong. Like, now.
