I woke up when my phone started to buzz in my pocket, I glances at the time and seen it was almost midnight and that me and Harvey had been sleeping for almost 8 hours! Goodness gracious. It was another news notification.
"Aubrey Louis found dead."
Another girl in our year from our school. This is becoming too much. I felt Harvey shift next to me and I seen his eyes open, but he squinted when he seen the bright screen.
"Morning." He mumbled and snuggled into my shoulder.
"It's not morning actually, but I'm hungry."
"Me too." He sighed.
"Well, let's get something to eat." I said trying to wiggle out of his grasp.
"Harvey, please, I'm hungry."
"Fine." And he let me go. I hopped up and started walking down to the kitchen.
"Sandwich?" I asked when he finally got downstairs, he collapsed onto their couch though.
"Sure." He mumbled already falling asleep.
I made us a ham sandwich and went and sat down on the floor.
Harvey opened his eyes and his arms.
"Harvey, you need to eat this sandwich before you get to sleep again." I said.
"Ok fine, but only because you're really cute." He sighed and pecked my cheek.
He sat down next to me and we both took a bite of our sandwich.
"Another girl was killed." I blurted.
"Oh man, you know, this is becoming really excessive."
"I know." We sat in silence while we ate.
"What will happen if someone we actually know gets killed?" I say breaking the silence. It was a scary think to wonder.
"Let's just hope that doesn't happen." He said.
"But what if it does? Harvey, girls are getting murdered left and right, they're all in our year, they're all at our school! What if it happens to, Isabella, Chloe, Zaye, or.... me?" I whispered. It made me want to throw up. I felt a hot tear roll down my cheek and I quickly wiped it away.
"You know what, I'm going back to bed." I sighed. But I was stopped when Harvey grabbed my wrist and pulled me back down.
"Autumn, I know you're scared, but I promise, I won't let anything happen to you." He said looking into my eyes.
"You can't promise something like that Harvey, you can't always be with me." I said. I felt another tear roll down my face, Harvey wiped it away with his thumb.
"I know I can't, but, I'm going to protect you. I can promise that." He whispered and gently kissed me. I pulled away and weakly smiled.
"I love you so freaking much." I said.
"I love you so freaking much more." He said and placed his lips back on mine.
I'm still really scared, but somehow, not as much as before.
We pulled away and threw away what we didn't eat and walked back upstairs and climbed back into my bed. I cuddled into him and closed my eyes. It didn't take long for me to fall back asleep.
Hey guys! So, I have some 'Meh' news. Even though most of you don't know what I look like, (promise i'll fix that later) but I went to get a sports physical yesterday and everything was great, except for my vision. I almost wasn't cleared to play basketball because my vision wasn't good enough, but I can, because it's right over the 'you can play' mark. Now I need glasses. Meh. Hope you guys like this chapter! Love all my smexy uniturtles!
