As soon as I reached my bed, I was out. I wasn't planning on going to sleep, but anxiety attacks always wear me down.
I didn't wake up until I felt something furry jump on top of me.
"Hi, Pippa!" I squealed as I petted her golden fur. She licked my face and layed her head down on my lap. We don't deserve dogs. I reached over at my phone and pick it up. The screen lights up the dark room and basically takes away my eyesight for a brief eighteen seconds.

What the heck.
"Hey are you ok"
"I just got a text from max what's the matter"
"Autumn I'm worried"
"I don't know what this is about but I know how you are. Text me"
"Oh god autumn max told me everything I'm so sorry"
"Please answer me we need to talk"
"I only did it because I was mad"
"I'm sorry, she means nothing to me"
Along the lines of "I messed up" maybe I should talk to him. But then I glance at the time at the top of my screen. 3:56am. Woah. Maybe I should wait until morning. But then, I seen the three dots pop up. Good thing I have my read receipts off. He types for a good three minutes before he finally sends something.
"Autumn. I don't know what else to say but I'm sorry. I'm sorry I flipped out on you for talking to that dude. I'm sorry I kissed another girl in the hall. I'm sorry I've been so mean in the past. I understand why you're mad at me. I understand why everyone is mad at me. I'm mad at myself for God's sake. You don't have to want me back. You don't even have to not hate me. I just want you to accept my apology. I love you autumn. I've really never stopped."
My heart dropped. How do I respond to that?
