Author's Note: Since I said I would try to update every Saturday, then I am going to!! And plus, I think this is the chapter you all have been waiting for since the beginning of the story.

The first few minutes of the expedition were shockingly (A/N: I give up at this rate), scarily, and surprisingly smooth. Though it was reassuring that, for now, Marley had stopped turning more Mainlander Eldians into Mindless Titans, it was also scary. After all, Mindless Titans were actually Eldians from the Marley who were sent to "Heaven" or "Paradise". Basically, they were punished for following the ways of Ymir-sama and basically defying Marley. But if there were no longer any Mindless Titans on Paradis, then does that mean all Eldians of the Mainland are now brainwashed followers of Marley and their lies?

Levi Heichou tried not to think about it too much as he rode through the island, alongside Commander Hange. He tried keeping his mind focused on Petra, whom he knew he would see again. The thumps of the horses hooves against the ground resonated in his brain as Hange shouted out for the routes to now split up, as they were nearing the borders of Pardis Eldia/Marley.

Levi could feel the chill of his bones grow colder as Squad Levi entered a small forest alongside Hange. This place was just like the place where Petra was taken from him in the first place, so he always felt a memory of pain and sadness as he passed by those damn trees. Though the horses were traveling with the speed of a hare, Levi felt that they were practically tortoises at this rate. Because even though this was technically pretty fast, they wouldn't be able to reach the end of Paradis Island until the next day. The original Squad Levi could have already been on the island, and they already could have been on their way to the Walls. And even though Titans hadn't been spotted, that didn't mean there weren't any. There could have been some Titans with bad spines trying to near the Walls that were pretty close to the border of Paradis Eldia/Marley, where the beach was, and Squad Levi were probably too disturbed by the origin of the Titans to kill them. He knew he was. And he definitely knew Eren Yeager was, as well. Why? Because every time they spotted a Titan in the past 4 years, Eren would be too disturbed to kill it because if he did kill the Titan, he would have killed one of his fellow countrymen. And yet when they had to kill it, Eren would make a big speech that a fellow Eldian was "free of this insane world" and shall rest with Ymir-sama. So unlike Eren Yeager four years ago, and yet, despite the fact that he seemed less ignorant of the world, like all of the Island Dwellers, he seemed... sadder. Levi could relate.

Either way, they were not going fast enough, in Levi Heichou's opinion. And yet what Hange said was almost as if she read his mind.

"Maintain current distance. In estimated time, we shall reach the boarders by the next 30-40 minutes. It should give the original Squad Levi enough time to near us, and that should help us meet them," Hange shouted to the group.

Levi did not want to maintain the current distance, but if he disobeyed a direct-order from the Commander of the Survey Corps, then (A/N: Again, don't kill me if you're a huge Mikasa fan, but please know that I am not a fan) he would be worse than his relative, the infamous Mikasa Ackerman. Well, she only did that whenever Eren was in trouble, but still. So Levi maintained the current pace he was going at, even if he was saddened that he couldn't be able to see Petra sooner (He was seriously growing impatient). But silently, he prayed that for the next 30-40 minutes would be Titanless. Because that meant no more countrymen killing.

As a child, Levi wondered if your wish needed to be granted, you had to sacrifice something sooner or later. And though it sounded ridiculous for someone like the Captain of the Survey Corps to believe, he found that to be a fact. Because growing up, whenever he got a true dream granted or a wish to come true, something else would be unwillingly sacrificed. Like when he was granted the wish of living in the world above, the sacrifice was his life a rogue criminal, because in order for that to happen, he had to join the Survey Corps. And he didn't know what wish this sacrifice was used to grant, but soon after he became a part of the world above, he lost his best friends, Farlan and Isabel (A/N: *Sniff, sniff*). And his partial wish to have a world without Titans had been granted, but at this cost of finding out the sad truth of their origins.
