A/N: What the hell? Hange's observation skills are how she got to where she is today.

"Petra???" Petra was yanked out of her mid-day reverie as Hange's voice chirped up.

"Sorry," she groaned, suddenly feeling queasy once again.

"It's alright," Hange asked, "I just wanted to know who the father of your baby was."

"Why's that??" Petra asked.

"The kid is gonna need a father," Hange simply replied, "Plus, if the conception wasn't consensual, then we could give you a fair trial."

"Of course it was consensual," Petra snapped, feeling sicker.

"Sorry, sorry," Hange said, chuckling, "And finally, if the dad is a soldier, we can honorably discharge you two from the Survey Corps-"

"Why would I want to do that!!??" Petra unintentionally shrieked, causing Hange to flinch.

"You're gonna have a KID, Petra," Hange replied, "You'll need to focus on it. But if you want to remain in your post, we could simply give you a maternity leave."

Petra closed her eyes, her teeth clenched up beneath pursed lips. She managed to avoid the topic of the father, but it wouldn't be long before Hange asks again. What am I going to do!!!??? On one hand, if she lied, she could only keep it up for so long. Especially when her child is born. On the other hand, if she told the truth, hers and Levi's reputation would be forever ruined. So eventually, she picked a hand.

"Is it okay if I keep the identity of the father a secret, Hange?" Petra replied. Allow me to rephrase the sentence before the previous. She didn't pick a hand.

"Are you sure, Pet?" Hange asked, curious.

"I'm sure."

With that, Hange picked herself up and walked out of the room. Who was this mystery man that Petra wanted to keep secret? Normally, one would respect another's wishes and left all alone. Hange Zoe was not a normal person. Hange Zoe was always thirsty for any piece of information. So, naturally, she wouldn't leave the topic alone.

++++

The pregnant, orange-haired girl would never suspect anything. The night was peaceful and quiet, the the occasional chirp of a cricket. The moonlight shone through the windows and illuminated each hallway of every floor. However, it left some dark corners behind. Perfect for a stalker... who WASN'T Auruo Bozad.

Hange Zoe, Commander of the Survey Corps, had truly meant well. Petra was a good friend of hers, so naturally, she just wanted to help her. If only she realized that Petra didn't want the help Hange was anticipating. Then things may have gone a different way. But no. Instead, Hange decided to creep in the shadows and eavesdrop through the slightly ajar door. Her good eye looked through the gap to find Petra alone with....with....some silhouette.

"I just don't want you to get in trouble," she heard Petra say, the latter's voice shaking, "They might have put you on trial for rape and abuse of power."

"Funny considering they should be helping those who have actually been hurt that way," Hange almost yelped when we heard the male voice. It sounded too familiar, "But instead they invest their time in people who don't need help at all."

"Petra, if you want, I can discharge from the Survey Corps for you," the male said, "That way I can no longer be your superior, and we can raise our baby in peace."

Superior? Hange thought , her heart sinking down to her stomach.

Hange didn't hear Petra respond, so he shoved her face closer to the gap. She was processing the identity of the male voice when the silhouette stepped into the light. Hange managed to bite her tongue to prevent physical noise, but that didn't mean she wasn't internally screaming. Standing in the light was none other than a good friend, raven-haired, eyes the color of the ocean at midnight, skin as pale as snow. Levi had stepped out of his uniform and now sported a white button-up with the sleeves rolled to his elbows and black dress pants. He brought a hand to Petra's cheek. Hange almost regurgitated upon seeing Petra lean into his hand.

"I don't want you to lose your job," Petra replied, "One day, we'll just have to state our truth. It doesn't have to be sometime soon, but we will."

Hange didn't stick around for Levi's reply to that statement. She muffled her footsteps as she speed-walked down the hallway. Yet her face had been scrunched up, and her teeth were gritted. She couldn't bear to think of the idea that Levi had been the father of Petra's baby. Don't get it wrong. She didn't mind the two as a couple. Hange actually thought it was kind of cute. But regardless, Levi was still Petra's superior.

Damn it, Levi!!!! What have you done??

A.N: Sorry for the hiatus. I just took a family vacation!!! What do you think will happen now with Hange's newly acquired knowledge??
