A/N: Did I leave you all at the edge of your seats? Are you excited/nervous to find out who this mysterious eavesdropper is?

"Petra?" Petra almost dropped the yogurt she was devouring. She whipped her head around to find her tongue-biting ex standing in the doorway.

What does he want? Petra stood, praying that she wouldn't have the immediate urge to pee. Thankfully, she didn't. However, Auruo's gloomy face didn't necessarily relieve her of stress either. There were shadows forming under his eyes, and one could tell that they weren't from lack of sleep. His face looked as if he had been ironed of all creases, and his mouth was contorted into one, straight line.

"What is it, Auruo?" Petra asked, just wanting to back to her yogurt.

"Can we talk?" Auruo said.

"No," Petra replied blatantly.

"Why?" Auruo asked, his teeth gritting with his sentences.

"I'm not in the mood," Petra said, "Now if you excuse me, I have some yogurt that I need to finish."

Petra almost yanked the oak chair out of its place, but before she could sit down, she froze as Auruo moved closer to her. He made his way in front of her, his pupils as small as mothballs.

"What are you-" Petra never had the time to finish her sentence, considering Auruo's words would soon freeze everything in her body.

"I know about the kid, Petra," Auruo snapped, "I also know that it was put there by Levi Heichou."

The world blurred around Petra as she dug her nails into the oak frame. How did Auruo find out? Suddenly, her yogurt wasn't as delectable as it used to be. Her stomach twisted into a knot, and she worried that her baby was stressed. She managed to open her mouth, but no words came out. Unfortunately, that was more than enough information for Auruo.

"So you admit it!" Auruo chuckled a nasty laugh, "Not only did you manage to get yourself knocked up, but you screwed our superior officer right after you dated me! Was I not enough for you or something?"

Luckily, his rant gave her enough time to form a rebuttal speech. Petra scrunched her face, and she gritted her teeth.

"You, Auruo, were arrogant and unkind," she replied, "And I had loved Levi for four years now, and he loved me!! You and I are not an item anymore, so you don't need to care about us!!"

Auruo just scoffed and shook his head.

"Glory to Ymir," he replied, "So I meant nothing to you."

"That's not what I said, Auruo," she clenched her teeth even more, "You are a nice person, and I love you very much, but only as a comrade. As a friend."

"That's nice," Auruo said, "That's really nice. You're completely forgetting how Levi Heichou is our superior. You could lose your place as a soldier, Petra, and so could he!! Oh well, have a nice life with your prince and bastard baby."

He did not just call my kid a- Out of nowhere, her hand flew across the room. She struck Auruo in the face, causing his head to whip around. She left a large, red hand-print across his cheek, and blood was leaking out of his tongue. Petra's face remained angry and her teeth remained clenched.

But her victory was short-lived. As soon as Auruo managed to stand, she felt two hands push her away... hard. Petra yelped as she fell, but she was silenced as she felt her head hit something cold and solid. Some warm liquid flowed out from some area at the back of her head. The world blurred out around her, and before she knew it, it blackened out.

Gingerly, Levi lifted a small cup of tea and delicately tipped the contents into his mouth. He felt the warm, pleasant-tasting liquid fuzz up his taste buds. His world was calm, and he was relaxed. There is truly no better way to relax than drinking tea. Harshly interrupting his thoughts, he head a loud bang from somewhere downstairs. It wasn't long before the sound was followed a man's panicked remarks.

How is a man supposed to relax with idiots causing commotion? Levi followed the panicking man's voice as he set his tea down. Without a doubt, he came to the conclusion that the ruckus was coming from the kitchen. When he opened the door, he was expecting a flock of rookies prancing about the kitchen playing squirt gun and giggling like naive, urine-brained, first-grade girls. He did NOT expect the scene that was playing upon his eyes.

On the floor was his cherished loved one, her body lying on the floor like a carelessly misplaced doll. And Auruo standing over her, his arms pushed out, and his face flooded with a horrid dread.

"What happened!!??" Levi bolted over and attempted to cradle Petra's body. As he picked up her head, he saw that where her head was a pool of crimson blood.

"Sh-sh-she fell," Auruo stammered.

"DON'T LIE TO ME!!!!" Levi shrieked, causing Auruo to flinch.

"It-it was an accident," Auruo sobbed.

"Damn your excuses!" Levi yelled, "Go get a doctor before I break your face."

Auruo bolted out the door, his shouts for help dripping with a cold fear. In the meantine, Levi simply held Petra's head as she fell limp in his arms.

"You're gonna be okay," he muttered, fear entering his voice for the first time in a while, "You're gonna be okay."

Why is it so bright in here? Petra squinted her eyes as they met with a big, white, bright light. Is this heaven?

The back of her head was extremely sore, as well as her lower back. However, there was something soft underneath. She hoisted herself up on her elbows, the light dimming as she did so. She had been surrounded by blue curtains and different machinery. So, thankfully, she was not dead.

"Petra?" The girl whipped her orange head to the front, where a certain cheery, brown-haired commander with an eye-patch clad with glasses stood.

"Commander?"

"I'm glad to see that you are awake," Hange replied, "You had a pretty bad fall there. We had to put stitches at the back of your head."

Bad fall? Petra managed to place her fingers at the back of her head, feeling a jolt of pain as she did so. Hange just chuckled as she walked up to do a check up on the former, asking if there were any other points of pain. To most, Petra said, "no," but that was when a certain flash of memory hit her head.

My baby!! Her eyes widened in fear, and she tried to keep her tears in as Hange continued with the check-up.

"Okay then," Hange replied cheerfully, "You are all good. And your baby is perfectly okay."

"Thank yo-WHAT!!??" Petra shrieked, causing Hange to flinch a little. What did she just say?

"I said that you and your baby are perfectly okay," Hange replied, but a little louder this time.

"I heard what you said Hange," Petra said, her voice dripping with surprise.

"Then why did you-Oh wait," Hange simply chuckled once again, "You must not have known. You, Petra Ral, are pregnant."

Petra felt a sudden lurch in her stomach, yet she didn't throw up.

"H-h-how do you kn-know?" She managed to squeeze out those words out of her tense mouth.

"When Levi took you the doctor, we noticed there was blood on your pants, so we had to do a procedure," Hange replied, "That's how we found out. But like I said, your baby is okay. Speaking of which, why didn't you tell someone? And who is the lucky father?"

Petra didn't say anything. All she could do was think to herself;

How long will it be before the whole island knows?
