A/N: Sorry if I made all of you feel awkward with the last chapter. And hopefully, I don't make you feel weird with this chapter.

(TIME SKIP: One month later)

"You okay, love?" Levi asked as he stared at his lover, whose orange tresses had splattered all over her face. Her usually rosy face had been tainted a bilious green, and her amber eyes drooped down quite often.

"I don't know what's been going on with me," she groaned, laying lazily upon Levi's bed. Allow me to explain. Petra had come to visit when she began to vomit heavily. Levi could remember the undigested filth raid his sink as he stroked Petra's back at the time. She had gone to lay down on his bed, seemingly tired after regurgitating her breakfast. And now you're caught up.

Levi placed his hand upon Petra's forehead, shocked when the temperature of her skin was perfectly normal.

"You're not warm," he replied, "And you seemed perfectly fine throughout the week."

Petra managed to sit up before slumping against Levi's chest. He smiled as he kept her close.

"Actually, I wasn't," she said. Levi's thin eyebrows rose up like that of a mountain, and he blinked his navy-blue eyes a couple of times.

"What do you mean?"

"I've been throwing up for the past month. Not to mention I'm hungry all the time, my emotions are flying all over the place, and my chest is a tad sore."

Levi had processed everything Petra had said. Sore chest, mood swings, infinite hunger, and just as infinite illness. He had repeated those symptoms in his head for a while before the daunting conclusion hit his brain. It came to him out of nowhere, like Marley's raid from two months ago. But he didn't want to think about it. It couldn't be possible! Plus, Petra's symptoms weren't necessarily the side-effects of the mental word. Something else had to happen, something that Levi felt uncomfortable asking her.

"Petra, I need to ask you something."

"Anything," she lifted her head form his chest and smiled up at him.

Levi nervously scratched at the back of his head, the question burning his throat like an unquenchable flame.

"Have you... missed?"

Petra stared up at her lover, confused at the question. His normally pale face was a rosy red, and his eyes gave off the simple aura of awkwardness and discomfort.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean........ have you missed... you-know... that certain time of the month," he wheezed out, awaiting a slap on the face.

Petra stared blankly at him before her eyes widened. Her mouth was held open in a perfect O, and her cheeks had become a bloody-red. She had remained silent for a while, mentally recalling the past month. Her throat lumped up as she remembered the answer. An answer that she didn't think would fix things.

"Oh.... I-uh-mmm... I haven't been paying attention," she sputtered, attempting to avoid the gaze in Levi's eyes.

The latter narrowed his eyes, giving off his signature glare. If she hadn't fallen in love with him, this glare wouldn't get to Petra as much. But she had, and it did.

"I have a feeling that you're lying," Levi replied.

Petra remained silent, but Levi still kept his glare. She had to remain strong, but those eyes....

"Yes," she squeaked.

"Huh?" he replied, breaking into a look of confusion.

"Yes... I think I've missed," she replied, "But why are you asking me that?"

She had began to put two and two together as Levi began to rub his temple, worry washing over him like a plague. Though she thought she knew, she couldn't help but ask what was wrong.

Levi stared at her, his eyes bleeding out worry. He had stopped rubbing his temple, though that look never faded.

"Petra, if you have those symptoms," he paused for a long time, not wanting to worry her, but when he did start talking, the words had left his mouth, "I-I-I-I-"

"What is it, Levi?" she asked, growing a tad impatient.

That was when he said it.

"I think that you're pregnant."

A/N:

DUN DUN DUN!!! And sorry for the short chapter. If you read my pal, @Shipsrlife2's, "Truth or Dare," then you know that I've been grieving a fallen friend of mine, so it has been a tad hard to write.

Also, if you aren't up for the fandom baby, then you don't have to continue this story. However, I've been planning this moment for a long time.

Happy reading (sudden realization that I haven't said that in a while),
