(Levi x Petra) Shock

Epilogue

A/N: Here it comes. Author-chan has goosebumps.

(TIME SKIP: Five years later)

Levi Ackerman walked onto the grounds of his new house in Shiganshina. He had just returned from HQ, where he would be taking the week off to rest after the previous one was full of battle strategies. Digging the key into the lock, he heard a series of clicks before opening the door. Removing his boots before stepping in, Levi almost called out for his wife and son's name. But that was when a small voice chirped up.

"Daddy? DADDY!!" From the hallway came the now five-year-old Silas Ackerman. The boy's raven-colored hair was cut like his father's, and his nose was small like his father's too. However, the boy gained his mother's skin-color, as well as her amber-eyes and kind heart. 

"Hello, Silas," Levi replied, picking his son up and swinging him around. Levi loved his son with all of his being. It honestly scared him sometimes. But regardless, he loved his baby boy with all of his heart, mind, and soul. 

"How was your day, Daddy!!?? Did you fight more bad guys!!? Did you!? DID YOU!?" Silas chirped. 

"Calm down there, tiger," Levi replied before kissing Silas's cheek, "And no. I didn't fight bad guys, but I figured out a way to fight them."

"YAAAAAYYYYY!!!" Silas cheered, clapping his small, thin hands together.

"Silas, baby, is that your father I hear," A melodious voice came from the kitchen. Out came Petra Ral-Ackerman, clad in her button-up, black pants, and and white doctor's jacket and stethoscope around her neck. She daintily walked over to Levi before giving him a kiss on the lips, the two lovers ignoring the gagging boy in Levi's arms.

"Hello, Mr. Ackerman," Petra smiled.

"Hello, Mrs. Ackerman," Levi smiled.

In case you haven't picked up the hints, they are now married. Two years later Silas was born, a grand wedding was held in the Survey Corps HQ, everyone they knew and loved cheering as they exchanged vows.

"You came home just in time," Petra smiled, "I was just about to make dinner."

"Perfect," Levi replied, "What shall we make tonight."

"PAAAAASSSSSTTTTTTAAAAAA!!!!!" Silas cheered (A/N" Hah. Hetalia reference).

"Have we had pasta in a while?" Levi asked.

"Come to think of it," Petra thought, "No we haven't. Pasta for dinner, then!!" 

"With cheesy bread!!" Silas cheered.

"And a salad," Levi said sternly, "I'm not ruining my palate."

"Whatever you say, love," Petra replied, kissing Levi's cheek. 

"Ewwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!" Silas giggled. 

Levi and Petra both laughed whilst hugging their son. Levi then made a stern face, allowing curiosity to spread to Silas and Petra's faces.

"What's wrong?" Petra asked. 

"I forgot," Levi replied.

"Forgot what?" Silas asked, his black eyebrow raised.

"Someone needs their daily dose of.......TICKLES!!!" Levi shouted before tickling Silas. The boy let out shrill laughs as they fell on the couch, Petra in tow as she tickled Silas.

"Mommy, Daddy, nooooooooooooooooo!!!" Silas shrieked happily.

That night, after dinner, once Silas had gone to bed, the two lay together in their queen-sized bed, cuddling. 

"Four years ago, I never would imagined my life being this joyful," Levi asked, "I thought I would never love again. But then you came back to me, and suddenly, my heart opened to new possibilities. It became full of something that I never thought I'd feel again."

"I know, love," Petra replied, "I thought I would never come home again. That I would never see you. That I would trapped in an outside world where people hated me for something that my ancestors did. But then we found each other again. We loved, we laughed, we cried, we created the most perfect bundle of joy that could ever walk the Earth."

Levi leaned over and kissed her, feeling her soft lips on his. She leaned forward and tipped her head at an angle, allowing him to kiss her better. They don't know how long it was until they finally went to bed, but it was perfect. They were perfect. All of these feelings they've experience and the feelings that have yet to come. Who knew that it would start with a confession before an expedition. Who knew that this one feeling would be the doorway to a path of many others.
