A/N: I'm baaaaaaccckkkk!!!! And to anyone who has seen Attack on Titan S3E1, how did that ending leave you!? What did you think of the new opening? And to fellow manga readers, did the anime satisfy as an adaptation? Plus, what did y'all think of Kenny?
Levi Ackerman sat in his commander's room, his teeth clenched, his face surprised. When Hange had called him down to her office, he expected a layout of battle plans, or an update on the Beast's plan. What he didn't expect? For Hange to know everything of his personal life.
"Levi? Levi! Are you listening to me!?" Hange snapped, yanking Levi out of his mid-day reverie.
"How did you know?" He asked in a strained voice.
"I know everything," Hange replied sarcastically, "But that's not the point? Do you realize what you've done? You've fornicated with a soldier of junior status? Dear Ymir, Levi, you knocked her up for crying out loud!!!"
"I know what happened, Hange!!" Levi snapped, "But why are you flipping out about this?"
"Because I want you to tell people as soon as you can," Hange snapped, her eyes squinted in annoyance, "That way, we still have time to open up plenty of options. Plus, just in case you in Petra die in battle or something like that, you need to organize a will for your child's well-being. And finally... I just want you to be able to spend as much time together as you can. As a family."
Levi's eyes almost bulged out of it's sockets. When did Hange become so considerate? He figured she wouldn't hesitate to get Levi demoted or discharged should she find out about Petra and he.
"Hange, I-" Levi started, but jumped as a large BANG hit the walls of Hange's office. Levi whipped his head around, annoyed that he couldn't finishing his sentence of gratitude. However, his eyebrow was soon raised, as he saw a huffing Armin Arlert in the doorway.
"Commander, I---I-----I," Arlert couldn't help but gasp and wheeze as he stood in the doorway. Within the boy's sky-blue eyes was a look of... fear? Shock? Surprise?? In his hand, clutched to the point of a crumpled paper, was an eggshell-white envelope, it's tar-black ink smeared upon the front.
"Give the letter to me, Arlert," Hange replied sternly, bolting over to the doorway before yanking the sweaty letter out of Armin's hands. Levi could hear the frantic and impatient tears of the envelope as Hange ripped the letter out, careful not to destroy it. All Levi could do was sit and stare as Hange's eyes grew wider and wider, his own soul filling with panic.
"Hange," Levi said, only for silence to follow, "Oi, Shitty Glasses!! What are you making that face for??"
All Hange could do was mutter, but Levi (being who he was) managed to catch every frantic and ragged word;
"Damn it, Eren!!!"
"What's going on?" Levi asked, squinting his eyebrows.
Hange whipped her head up to face Levi, bolting over to him before yanking his collar. A wave of electricity surged throughout Levi's body, and he could feel his blood boiling.
"Oi, Shitty Glasses!!! What the hell was in that letter?" Levi spat, "What's wrong with Eren?"
"Last Saturday!!!" Hange shrieked, causing Levi to raise a thin eyebrow, "When Eren "left," where did you say he was going!?"
"I didn't say anything," Levi replied, glaring at her before shoving the woman's hand off his collar, "He told me that he was going to visit Shiganshina for some time. To see thew new developments to his hometown."
"Really, Levi!!??" Hange shrieked, though the captain remained unfazed, "Because according to this letter, Eren is nestled somewhere in the Marleyan lands."
What? Wasting no seconds, Levi yanked the letter out of Hange hands. He could feel his stomach turn upside down as he read the letter word from word. Bile was pooling up in his mouth, and a clammy sensation curled over his fingertips.
(A/N: I'm too lazy to write the letter. Make it up in your mind)
"Gather the Survey Corps in the meeting room!!" Hange shouted at Armin, who sprinted from the door as he ran towards the bell tower. Even though the low, elegant chimes of the bell rang in Levi's ears, the thought of Eren's action's remaining in the letter.
Why, Eren? Do you realize what you've done??

The next chapter is probably gonna contain some cutesy Rivetra scenes, as well as Petra breaking the news to everyone and making her life choices.
