*~*Chapter 5*~*
"Why did you bring Cole with you?" Brent asked. He decided that the best way for us to have a private conversation was to lock us in the downstairs bathroom.
"Well we are kind of dating." I said not looking at him.
"Since when?"
"About a week after you left." I thought back to that night.
FLASHBACK
I stared down at the rushing water.
He is gone. He left you just like every body else.
You weren't good enough for him any way.
I slipped my way over the railing and looked behind me to make sure no cars were coming past the bridge. I could see headlights coming in the distance.
This is it. End it now.
I slowly began to let go of the railing.
"Wait stop don't jump." A voice yelled.
"Please just let me end it. Let me stop the pain. Let me go." I yelled back at the voice.
"Luna is that you. LUNA! STOP!" The voice yelled.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Goodbye. It began to pour down rain.
The next thing I know arms are wrapped around me and pulled me away from the edge.
I began to sob into the persons chest.
"Shhh I got you darling you'll be ok." He said to me and kissed my head.
"I'm so sorry Cole."
END OF FLASHBACK
"Why didn't you tell me you guys were dating?" Brent demanded.
"Gee I don't know you never called or texted me. When you did finally decide to call me it was seven months later and it was you inviting me to come to your wedding. I finally get here and your fiancée is pregnant. Then you tell me I'm suppose to be the maid of honor. SO IM SORRY IT SLIPPED MY MIND TO TELL YOU THAT IM DATING COLE." I said to him.
"The baby isn't mine." Brent said.
"Excuse me?" I asked
"When I got here Brianna was already two months pregnant. Her parents made her move up here after they found she was pregnant. She's from Pennsylvania to. I fell in love with her and my name is gonna be on the birth certificate when she's born." He said to me.
"Are you happy?" I asked him.
"To be happy all I need in my life is Brianna and the baby." He smiled.
I of course had to open my big mouth.
" Then why am I here?" I asked.
"Because I need my best friend here." He said with worry.
"I hope you really think this through before you say 'I do' because this best friend doesn't know if she can handle that." I said walking out of the room searching for Cole.
