This one takes place where ever Elide and Lorcan decide to live (Probably in Terrasen but idk) if they were to end up together.

The rain pounded on the roof top sounding like an army marching towards them but never getting any closer. Even as the wind roared commands to enter Elide laid in her bed. If Aelin had taught her anything it was that there was nothing to fear, and certainly not a silly little thunder storm.
Lightning struck nearby and Elide squeaked in terror. You're being ridiculous, she told herself, You've lived in a tower,
Lived with witches, becoming close friends with the wing leader,
Survived shadow fire in Morath,
Beat not one but two Ilken with a broken nose, injured wrist while on your period,
And carried a wyrd key in the wilderness for two weeks,
There's no way you're going to get scared over a little rain.
But then the lightning shook the house once more causing Elide to dive underneath her blankets, she had not done any of those things during a full blown thunder storm. After a minute without any thunder and just the thud of rain drops she peeked her head up to see Lorcan standing in the doorway. He wore only a pair of loose, brown pants, slung low on his hips. His dark hair was messy and he looked as though he had just crawled out of bed himself.
"What do you want?" She sneered, embarrassed to have been caught in what might be perceived as a moment of weakness. Even with those closest to you, you don't share your moment of weakness. Even Elide knew that.
"I heard you squeak like a mouse when the thunder stuck." His voice was low and gravely. It would do him good to go outside and let the rain pour into his mouth.
"I was doing my mouse impersonation, it's pretty good isn't it." she wrinkled her nose like a mouse and squeaked again.
"Was brave, fearless Elide scared of the lightning?" He smirked.
"pshhh no." How dare he accuse her of being weak.
Lorcan raised his brow.
"I'm not scared of anything." Elide looked away from him. How dare he insult my bravery.
Lightning struck once more and Elide dived beneath her covers, further proving his point.
"You are scared aren't you. Do you want me to comfort you?" He asked awkwardly.
"I AM A MACHINE OF DEATH AND DESTRUC- yeah I'm a cuddler. Get over here."
Lorcan stumbled over to her bed, surprised by how clean her room was, he commented on it. He was expecting clothes to be spread across the room along with all the junk she kept from her time with the witches. She even had riding gear and several weapons as gifts from Manon. As jealous as he was that Manon gave her gifts and he didn't; anything he did give ended up lost or broken or simply unwanted. All the things that he had given her she's accepted and has shown her gratitude for but she's Elide. Stone hard Elide, trained by witches and raised with an assassin. What did he expect?
"I've been a slave for years, I can't stand a dirty room. Though it would be night to not have to clean for once."
"I could clean up for you." Lorcan offered.
Elide laughed. "I've seen your room." Everything he owned was thrown about haphazardly and that's just the way he liked it. He knew where everything was. She had cleaned it once while he was away out of boredom and she had never seen him so annoyed. He couldn't even find his socks, though Elide had no idea why it was so unthinkable for him to check in the sock drawer.
Lorcan smiled as well. "We don't do this nearly enough."
"What?"
"Just lay together."
Elide rolled her eyes. "You don't come lay with me."
"Why don't you ever come into my room?"
"I cannot diminish my pride by coming into your bedroom for comfort." she wrinkled her nose in disgust.
"What about my pride?" He sounded hurt but there was a twinge of mischief on his face.
Elide grinned. "When it comes to me you have none after I managed to make you my bitch in a day."
Lorcan narrowed his eyes before laughing and pulling her close on the bed. "I sacrificed my favorite shirt for you."
"Further proof that I have you in the palm of my hand."
"Your thinking like a witch."
Elide laughed. "My blood runs blue, faerie. Besides," She continued. "if your so hung up about us sleeping together, why don't we share a room?"
"Because I can't stand to smell such strong blood for a week every month. Especially blue blood."
Anger crossed Elide's face. "If there weren't a thunder storm right now I'd have you out on your ass in a heartbeat."
"Blue Blood." Lorcan sang.
"You'll be out by morning." She grumbled.
Lorcan put his arms around her and kissed her. "You haven't even flinched from the lightning since I got here." He had that cocky look on his face again and there was no way she was going to let him get away with it.
"I was distracted by my anger."
"Just anger?" he started kissing down her neck.
"Vision clouded by it, still seething."
"Elide." He whined.
She grinned and he pulled the blankets over their heads.
"So is your plan just to have us be louder than the lightning?" She asked sarcastically.
"Yeah, sounds like a solid plan."
She sighed. "Your such a buzzard."
Then she kissed him back.

I didn't have much inspiration for it (MALIDE IS LIFE) besides a request for 'Lorcan comforting Elide during a thunder storm' but honestly I can't even see my badass Elide being scared of a thunder storms.
