---Unlike in previous chapters, here Manon and Asterin live in their own cottage, rather than with the thirteen----

"Elide, you should stay over tonight." Asterin said, nudging her shoulder.

Manon, Asterin and Elide were in the meadow training. At least they were until Manon got worried Elide might over exert herself. Now the five of them, Abraxos and Azura, were sitting in the field sprawling out on the grass.

Manon glared at Asterin with poison in her eyes. "Excuse you?"

Instead of backing up Manon, upset with her cousin asking over her girlfriend before she did, Elide played along with Asterin's friendly flirting. "Yea, sure I can come. I've got nothing better to do."

A smile erupted onto Asterin's face as she laughed quietly. "I should hope you have no one better to do."

"Excuse you." Manon repeated, a little louder this time.

Instead of continuing with Asterin, Elide spoke to Manon with a honey coated tongue. "I have room in my heart for only one." She rolled over next to the witch and grabbed her hand.

"Good because I would rip their throats out." Manon sneered.

"Brutally." Asterin added.

Manon's hand felt tense in her had so Elide added beneath her breath. "You're the only one."

Asterin murmured, "Prove it." as if she had any in what was to happen between them in only a few moments. Elide reached over and grabbed Manon's opposite hand that had been laying limp on her stomach, pulling so that the witch was laying on top of her.

Asterin sucked in a breath, eager to see where this encounter would lead her favorite couple.

Manon gave her a pointed look but Elide turned her head back towards her own and kissed her lightly. Manon kissed her back and suddenly time just stopped, the kiss becoming more urgent as the invisibility of time passed by. It was just the two of them, no one else. Or at least it was until Asterin let out a squeaking noise when Manon reached her hand beneath Elide's shirt, a sound that got both of their attention.

"Sorry." Asterin covered her face with her hands. "Continue."

Manon moaned and rolled off of the girl, letting Elides hand fall to her stomach.

"You wrecked it." Elide told her, in hopes that she would possibly leave in despair.

Still, Asterin only sighed. "I know, I'm sorry. It won't happen again." Staring hard at her, Manon moved her hand down to the top of Elide's low slung shorts and Asterin grinned, Elide squirming out of Manon's reach. Manon was very open with her nakedness as she didn't see her body as anything but a weapon yet even today in the burning sun she wore black leather pants and a dark tunic. Elide,on the other hand, who didn't take kindly to being touched or even feeling exposed, wore a light tank top and cotton shorts.

The more brutal of the two witches looked to the sky. "We should be going now, it's getting dark."

Asterin began, "But Manon we-" but Manon cut her off.

"No. We are going back to our house. Now." We all stood, slowly, stretching our arms and legs and looked around. "Abraxos," She yelled. "Get your ass over here now!"

Abraxos ignored her.

"Time to go." Elide called.

Abraxos looked up and walked over, away from the colorful flowers blooming behind him.

"How did you do that." Manon demanded.

Elide only shrugged. "Don't be such a bully."

Manon seethed but Asterin cut in. "She's right, Manon." She whistled and her Wyvern galloped over to her side. "Just got to be nice to someone besides onyx eyes and you could have the world at your fingertips." She patted Azura's head.
