9- Hide And Seek

Y/ns pov

  He responded not to long after.

  Philly: do you know where you're at?

  Me: if I did i wouldn't be lost.

  Me: all I know is that im in the room where people talk on stage.

  He didn't respond for a while. I didn't expect him to. He was busy. So I sat and played games. My phone screen changed to the call screen. It was Phil.

  I answered it. "Hello?"

  "Hey! Can you follow instructions?"

  "Ya. Im not a 3 year old Phil." I said sarcastically.

  "Great. So go out the door towards the back of the room." I saw the door he was talking about and went out it.

  "What now?"

"Turn right then go to the intersection then make another right." I did as he said. I only seceded in getting crowded around alot of people.

  "Phil. I need to know what to do now. Im very uncomfortable." I whined in the phone.

  "Left. Take a left." he said strictly. I took a left, almost running into a wall.

  "There's no hall here. Its just a wall."

  "Go to the next hall and turn left." I heard dans faint laughter. "Yes. She did almost walk into a wall if she didn't." Dan laughed louder.

  "I can hear you still you know." I pouted.

  "Haha. That's the point! Anyway, have you done that turn?"

  "Yes."

  "Now try to find us." he whispered in the phone.

  "Phil. No. You cant. I don't know anything about this place! And there's so many people!"

  "Don't worry! Its just like hide and seek. And if you find us then you'll get a surprise! Im going to hang up now so you cant track us, alri-" I ended the call.

  "It can't be that hard to find them. They're 6 feet tall for goodness sakes." I walked for a bit down the hall, looking for them. I had no luck so I just gave up and bought a pretzel and sat down. As I was eating it i heard voices behind me.

  "So you hang up on me and stop looking for us with out telling me? You really need to work on your people skills." I turned to Phil, Dan standing right behind him.

  "Found you." I said taking a bite of my pretzel.

  "Haha. You're not getting the surprise now." Phil sat next to me with a smile.

  "What was the surprise?"

  "Its still a surprise. I might do it later." I looked over to Dan who was still standing.

  "Im not going to tell you. He didn't even tell me what it was. He said I had nothing to do with it so I shouldn't know what it is." Phil nodded. He stood up and extended his hand.

  "Come on. I have funner places we can go to."

  "Don't you have a table? Don't you have to meet your fans?" I asked getting up from the table.

  "I've kept you waiting y/n. You've been waiting long enough." he took my hand in his and began to walk.

  "But they've been waiting longer. You probably mean more to them than you do to me. And they probably mean more to you than I do."

  He froze, dropping my hand. "Y/n..."

  "I mean, you saved alot of their lives. With out you im sure some of them would be dead right now."

  "Y/n..."

  "And you're my best friend. I've hung out with you for about 15 years. They've never met you. And im sure they'd lo-" he cut me off by press his lips against mine. He pulled away, leaving me to be the frozen one now.

  "Now what I was trying to say was y/n, don't you dare say they mean more to me than you do. I wouldn't be standing here if it wasnt for you."

  I stood silent for a few more moments. "Are you aloud to leave?"

  "Yes. And now i think I really really want to because everyone's going to be pestering me now." he led me towards the exit.

  "Why will everyone be pestering you?"

  He laughed. "You may not have realized it but I just kissed you."

  "Oh." I let an awkward little laugh out. He led me out the doors and down the path to a nice hotel. We went up a few floors then down a hall to a room. Phil swiped the card and unlocked the door.

  "We're going to stay here for a little bit, okay?" he held the door open as I stepped in.
