Phil's pov

"Uhhhggg. Do you know nothing about candles? With every single candle you're suppose to make a wish. No matter the size, no matter the scent."

I was sat in front of a blown out candle. Y/n was laying on the couch, watching me. I felt like there was something special going on but I couldn't figure out what.

"Im pretty sure that's just birthday candles." I got up and dusted off my pants.

"No Phil. Every. Single. Candle."  she glared at me, a small smile forming on her lips.

I walked over and sat down on the cushion beside her head. She moved herself up so her head was resting on my lap. I gently ran my fingers down her hair. I looked into her eyes, tiny flames flickering inside of the e/c-ness.

Concern filled my eyes. Actual fire was not suppose to flicker in eyes. My concern quickly turned to fear as blood started to fall down her face.

"Phil what's wrong?" she seemed oblivious to the red liquid flowing down her face.

I ignored her question. "No no no. I can't lose you again. I can't." I pulled her into me, one hand on her head the other on her back.

"Phil?" she pulled back, wiping one of my tears with a blood-covered hand. I pulled her back into me, to scared to let her go.

  But then she was gone.

  Vanished from my grasp.

I struggled to find my balance, searching the whole area for her.

"Y/n!" I screamed through out the house. "Y/n, where are you?"

I looked up from where I was looking and saw her. There was no fire in her eyes. There was no blood on her face. She looked like an angel. i slowly stood up and made my way to her.

"Where did you go?" I whispered, scared it was just an illusion.

She placed a hand on my check, my head naturally leaning into it. She said nothing. Just stood there.

"Y/n?" she flickered away, leaving nothing left of her. "Y/n?"

"Phil!" I heard her faint scream. I looked up and listen for it again.

  "Y/n?"

"Phil!" I stood up and ran down towards the gaming room. "Phil!"

"Y/n!" I couldn't find the source of her voice. I looked everywhere. But I couldn't find her.

  "Phil!"

>·<

My eyes snapped open. The echoing of her scream was still in my head. I looked over at y/n. Her head was rested on my side and she was cuddled up next to me.

I carefully moved over onto my back, bringing y/n up so her head was rested on my chest. She 'woke up', though she was still mostly asleep. I felt tears weld up in my eyes, struggling to keep them in. I sat up, pulling y/n with me. I hugged against my chest and rested my head on top of hers. A few tears soon turned into a river. I struggled keeping calm as I held her as tight as I could.

  "Phil?"

"Im sorry." I said immediately. "I shouldn't have pushed you away so many times. I should've canceled everything so I could hang out with you. I should have put more focus on you instead of my work crap. I was stupid. Im sorry."

She gently hugged me back. She pulled back after a few seconds and wiped some tears off my face. "Its fine. I told you five minutes would be enough for me. You don't have to apologize to me."

We sat silently together. "Go to sleep y/n."

"If I do you have to too." she cuddled up into my chest.

"Alright. Ill try." she reached out and took my hand in hers and squeezed it tightly.

"Im here. So you don't have to be scared." she said as if reading my mind. I gently kissed her head.

"I know." I kissed her head again. "I love you. " I whispered, but she was already asleep.
