Harry's POV

Niall was the first to break the silence after Y/N left. "What the hell, mate?" he spluttered in disbelief.

Louis was quick to jump in. "Harry, the way you treated her? That's just wrong on so many levels.... You didn't even care to listen to her when she said Noel was just a friend, did you? You have no idea how bad you looked just then...."

Liam nodded without saying a word.

I argued miserably, running my fingers through my long hair: "Well, you guys could've said something while we're fighting!"

Liam interjected: "Say something just then? No way would we dare to interrupt that fight, and besides, it wasn't our place to anyway."

I breathed in and out, making myself calm down and the more I calmed down, the more I started regretting my choice of word and my tone of voice just now.

Why wouldn't I just believe her when she told me Noel was just a friend? Why do I have to be so skeptical and suspicious about everything those texts? Maybe I'm just too afraid to lose her but now I surely am gonna lose her if I don't apologize soon.

I sighed miserably, plopping myself back down on the couch. Y/N's phone vibrated a couple more times but I didn't reach out to read the notifications this time.

"You should go apologize, Harry." Niall gently suggested, giving me an encouraging smile.

The rest of the boys nodded and somewhere in my heart softened.

I took her phone with me as I trudged upstairs, planning on giving her phone back to her as I apologize.

I was near our bedroom door when I hear soft sobs coming from the room. I walked in slowly, afraid to startle Y/N. I saw her sitting upright on our bed, knees tucked to her chin and her head lowered against it. She didn't look up as she didn't hear me walk in.

I gently lay one arm around her small body and her whole body jolted, obviously shocked but she still didn't look up.

"Love, I'm really sorry... I shouldn't have read your messages and I should've trusted you enough not to easily ruin our relationship with just a text. I'm truly sorry for invading your privacy, baby. Will you forgive me?"

She didn't respond to me but her sobs had decreased. I comforted her by putting both my arms around her now, wrapping myself around her like a sloth. I rubbed her back slowly, trying to soothe her broken heart. It was really heartbreaking hearing her cry and I felt ever so guilty that I was the cause of the tears.

Slowly, she looked up and looked at me with teary eyes. I wiped the tears away with my thumb delicately as she spoke softly.

"I've never felt this hurt, Harry... It isn't painful when you shouted at me, but it broke my heart to know that you don't trust me and would rather believe a stupid text over me..."

"Baby, I know.... I was so stupid, so so stupid... I guess my jealousy got the better out of me. I'm sorry that I said you cheated on me with Noel."

She shook her head and gently laid her head against my chest. I tenderly smooth her hair, stroking it lightly. We just stayed like that in silence.

"Sweetheart, you know that what ever happens, even when we fight, I still love you with every inch of my heart, right?" I softly confessed the truth.

She looked at me and smiled slightly. "I know, Harry. And you should know that I still love you even if you don't trust me."

I leaned my head on hers and murmured: "Can you let me make it up to you?"

She whispered back. "Then kiss me, Harry...."

I leaned forward and our lips collided. Her lips tasted a little salty from the tears but it was still one of the best kiss ever.

We held each other's hands as we walked down the stairs happily, having fixed our problems and letting it become the past.

The boys cheered as they watched us descend the stairs, my arms wrapped around her waist. Everything was just like before, me and the boys continued with FIFA, me and Y/N cuddling and basically if there was one thing that changed, it's that I've learnt to deal with my trust issues.
