"I can not believe this..." my father says shaking his head. My brother and I sat in the throne room. Listening to our father ramble on and on.
"What is it?" Ryan asked tilting his head.
My father slammed his fist against the arm rest. "The Festival King Sebastian and Queen Elizabeth are throwing....." He said through gritted teeth.
Our father raised his head. The sun shone through the windows. Reflecting onto the golden crown. Covered in tiny crystals and gems. Making it glimmer and shine in the light.
"What do you propose we do?" Ryan asks. I chuckle, shaking my head.
Standing up I walk over to the window. "Obviously we need to do what is needed...."
       "Exactly." Our father said.
     "That is?"
"Our family has always...envied them. We've secretly tried being more powerful than them. It has always failed, but not this time." He explained patting my brother on the back.
"What is the plan?" I ask folding my hands behind my torso.
"All you two need to do is act your part." Father answers.
     "That's all?" Ryan questions.
"For now." He replies folding his arms over his chest. "Now go. We leave tomorrow morning."

"Are you nervous?" My brother asks.
"Why would I be?" I scoff as I try to brush it off easily.
The truth was, I kinda was nervous. I didn't want to do this. Why in a million years would I want to hurt Izze. I mean sure they had more power and everything than our kingdom. At the same time though, Isabella was sweet, funny and kind. As were her siblings. On the inside I didn't want to, but on the outside....I knew I had to do this. For my father, I had to be strong. Showing no mercy. Even if it meant saying goodbye to Izze and her family forever.
