"Sarah come on!" My sister groaned.
I quickly ran into our bedroom and grabbed my sweater. My mother had decided since we have been moping around we should get out of the forest. We were going to the village near the forest.
"Sarah!" My mom called.
"Coming!" I called and walked outside with them.
We walked through the forest making sure to scan our surrounds. Or should I say me scanning our surroundings. I should've knew this would happen. My mother and sister haven't been away from the cabin. Sure they've been outside the cabin, but not away from it.
"Sarah I said West." My mom says.
I sigh and turn my head to look at her, "It's North East." She sighed and we continued.

"We're here!" Kayla exclaimed running towards the gravel paths that went around the village. I chuckled and my mom and I went to catch up with her. We haven't been here in almost six years. This was our home. The one we would wake up to and run around in the open fields.
Suddenly a man grabbed my sister's coat and pulled her back. Immediately, I ran and pushed Kayla away from him.
"Watch it!" I yell at him.
"You are not permitted here." He said rudely.
"What do you mean not permitted?" Our mom asked, her hands on either side of Kayla's shoulders.
"You are outsiders." He replies.
"But we use to live here." I say.
"Get out of you'll get it."
I crossed my arms over my torso, "You can't do this!"
"I'm pretty sure we can." A voice said. I turned to see three other men approach us.
"Hey!" Kayla yelled. People started to notice the seen. I look at Kayla. A man grabbed her arm. I started to run up to her, but someone grabbed my arm. My mom screamed out after getting grabbed as well.
What is going on?
~*~
We say surround by three of the muscular rude men. I felt like I knew them, but nicer. From somewhere I've been. For one, I knew they weren't from Collin's kingdom. Even though they were utterly mean when we first arrive.
The one man that grabbed my sister in the beginning look at an old watch the was on his right wrist. "We'll have to go to the nearest kingdom."
"Nicholas?" Another one asked.
The guy nodded, "Where had come from, obviously."

We had been shoved in a carriage. Our mother, Kayla and I sat on one side. Two guards across from us sat as quiet as we were. I saw tears slowly fall down my mother's cheek. Quietly, I brushed them away and she smiled slightly.
Suddenly a castle came into view. I looked out the window to see a kingdom I knew all to well. It was their grandparents.
"Um excuse me?" I say.
"What?" The one said glaring at me.
I sat up straight and pointed to the castle, "Is this King Nicholas's kingdom?"
"Yes, but sadly he isn't here. He hasn't been since he was seem with her granddaughter. Princess Isabella." The other said calmly.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Kayla perk up at the mention of Izze. I rested my hand on her thigh as a warning. Her face slowly went blank, although I knew she tried to hide the smile. I shook my head slightly.
Someday, I have to teach Kayla... I thought.
We stopped outside of the castle and were quickly brought in to the throne room. Where we were greeted by their grandmother.
"Your Majesty." One said, bowing.
She stood up and looked at us. Her eyes landed on me. Queen Isabella's eyes narrowed in what seemed like curiosity.
"Whom do we have here?" She asked still looking at me. I shifted my weight onto my left foot.
"Trespassers." Another guard said.
She walked towards us and stopped in form of me. Everyone's eyes were on me. "Do I know you from somewhere?" I nod my head slowly.
"What is she talking about Sarah?" My mom whispered.
I sighed quietly, "I came here with Isabella, Adrianna, Collin, Sean and Rachel."
"Who's Sean and Rachel?" Kayla asked. I swallowed hard trying not to have tears formed. God I miss them.
"Not the time." Our mom warned holding onto Kayla's arm.
Queen Isabella looked at me still before raising an eyebrow. "You..are Sarah. I never forget a face." I sighed heavily in relief.
"Are saying we let them go?" The one spat.
She straightened her back and looked at the four. "Yes, now go." They quickly scurried away and it was now me, my mom, Kayla and the Queen.
The Queen turned to my mother and Kayla. "Who are these lovely ladies?" I held back a laugh as Kayla blushed a deep shade of pink.
"Hello y-your Majesty." Our mom stutters and I try my best not to roll my eyes. I know my mom has never met royalty. Well she's met Collin and them, but certainly not a King or Queen.
Kayla stepped forward and bowed slightly at whatever she could muster up. "I'm Kayla and this is Sarah and I's mom."
"Well any friend of my grandchildren is a friend of mine." She said happily before muttering under her breath, "except for him." I must have been the only one to hear because my mom and sister looked dazed as they stared at her.
~*~
"So how are they?" Queen Isabella asked me as we walked through the halls. The torches hung all in a line, lighting up the halls. I walked next to her while the other two followed still in a daze. Not my fault they've never been to a castle.
"Good I think, I haven't heard since we left..." I said trailing off.
"You left?" She asked.
"I wouldn't be here now if we didn't." I sigh, "The King thought it was best if we..Sean, Rachel and I left." My voice cracked at the end. I wish I could see them again.
"I understand, but you do know the king..died?" She said slowly and in a hushed voice.
I almost choked on my spit, I looked at her with my head tilted. "What?"
"Listen I'm only telling you this because you are close. No one else knows except those on the inside of these walls and walls of other kingdoms." She whispers, looking at my mother and sister still trailing after us. I nod and we continue to walk until we reach a hall full of doors.
"Where are we?" Kayla asked running her fingers along the walls.
"I thought you should rest and we can discuss things in the morning. You all seem..tired." She explained.
"Thank you, again." I say to her. Her eyes seemed to cloud and hurt flashed over them before she smiles at me slightly. Then the queen turned and left us alone.
~*~
"Come, come!"
We walked quickly over to a carriage. It was purple and blue, with golden tops. Even though I've been in their carriages it still seemed different.
The horses trotted down the gravel paths as we left the castle. My stomach was turning with excited and nerves. I was excited to see them again, but I was nervous to see them.
"Why are you nervous Sarah?" My mom asked before laughing lightly, "Shouldn't I be nervous?"
"I'm not nervous.." I say biting my lip.
"Sarah..." My mom said slowly.
"Okay I'm nervous! Happy?" I say looking at her.
The queen put her hands in mine, "No need to be. They love you. You helped them and they helped and made you feel welcome. Did they or did they not throw you out after that whole thing in the dungeon?"
"No.." I say slowly.
"Exactly my point. They didn't throw you away. Why would they now?" She asked, her eyes shining. I nod slowly and look out the window again.
After a while the Queen exclaimed, "We are here!"
"We're back.." I said sucking in air.
The carriage pulled us in the gravel path that led up to the castle. It still looked the same from when I left a while ago. Same Royal Blue Flags the stood tall in each corner of the towers. The carriage hauled to stop in front of the castle. For a second I forgot how to breathe.
We got out and made our way to the big tall wooden oak doors. Two guards stood tall outside of them. Upon our arrival and stepping in front of them, they quickly bowed and opened the doors. I heard voices from somewhere.
The one guard led us to the throne room. A servant passed and I immediately recognized her.
"Nora!" I exclaimed.
Nora stop and slowly turned to me. Her eyes were big and wide. Quickly she rubbed her eyes. I'm guessing trying to make sense if I was real.
"Sarah!" She exclaimed and ran to me. We embraced and a big hug. "I can't believe you are back!"
"Me too." I say letting go.
"It's nice to see you again, but I have to get busy. We have to prepare for Isabella and Adrianna's sixteenth birthday. It's in 5 days!" Nora exclaimed again.
I laugh slightly, "Well get to it." After she left I made my way to the throne room. I saw them just ahead and I quickly sped up.
"Where were you?" Kayla asked me.
"I saw Nora." I say. She looks at me in confusion. Of course, she hasn't met her. "She works here." I reply sheepishly.
"Mother!" A voice calls. I turn my head to see Queen Elizabeth walking towards us. She embraces in a hug with her mother. They step back and Queen Elizabeth hugs me. "Sarah you're here!"
"Hello." I reply stepping back to introduce my mom and sister. "This is my m—"
"Sarah?"
I stop and I can feel my throat close up. Sarah you are over him, I tell myself.
"Um hi Collin.."
