I left Jake with new knowledge. Hoping to god he wasn't fooling me. I knew it was wrong to trust him, but for some reason I had faith in him. Or maybe it was just faith towards tomorrow. I had no idea.
My body slammed into a wall. More like my brother's chest. I stood up and looked at his face. Confusion and worry.
He shook my shoulders gently, "Where'd you go?"
"I was looking for mother." I say quickly.
"I've been in the meeting room this whole time? Why didn't you check in there." A voice called from behind. Collin dropped his hands and I turned to look at our mother. She raised an eyebrow at me in silence.
"Can I talk to you, alone?" I ask quietly. She nods her head and we walk towards the meeting room.
Once the doors closed and we were alone, I spilled everything. Every time I said something new, her expression changed. It had made me worried and very anxious.
"Isabella you should know better! What were you thinking to go there?" My mother exclaimed as she paced the wooden floor.
"I'm sorry I wasn't, but Jake has information me could use! Just give him a chance." I say.
She whirls around and glared at me. Making me wish I could shrink into my seat and not be seen. "Give him a chance? Are you out of your mind Isabella!?"
I look at her eyes. Although she was absolutely furious, she seemed like she didn't want to believe anything she just said.
"What are you looking at?" My mother asks me looking around.
I stand up and step towards her, not breaking eye contact. "Why are you lying to me?"
      "I-I'm not lying." She stutters.
    "Please Mom just tel—"
"I'm not lying! You are so very lucky I'm not going to punish you and that it's your birthday. Just know I'm still angry and disappointed with you." She spat out making me flinch.
I turned and walked out the door. Tears begging to spill from my eyes. I thought she would understand. Hear me out and help, but she didn't.
I ran up the stairs and towards my room. Wanting to be alone, for the rest of the day. I barely made it to my bed. Instead I sat on the ground by the door in silence.
My head jerked to the door when I heard voices. My mother and Adrianna's voice. My eyes drifted over to my wall. That was where the sound was coming from.
   Adrianna's Room.
Quietly I pushed myself up against the wall to try to hear their conversation.
"She saw him?" Adrianna said quietly.
"Yes and he told her things that he never told me and I don't believe you. Did he?" My mother asked urgently.
"No he didn't. But he probably told Izze because they used to, ya know..." Adrianna mumbled. Which surprised me I even heard her through the wall.
"Yes I'm aware." Our mother said quietly. There was a long pause before she spoke again. "Come with me to see him. Let's see what we can get out."
      "Now?" Adrianna asked.
"Yes." She replied. Suddenly a door opened and shut, them there was complete and utter silence. I got up and paced the floor.
Did I dare go follow them? What would happen if they caught me?
I shook my head at my thoughts and walked towards the door. I was going to follow them to Jake again.

The door was slowly shutting as I grabbed hold of it and slipped through. Only ten feet in front of me was my sister and mother. They were whispering quietly, too quiet for me to hear.
My mother stopped and unlocked the door. Once it was unlocked, they stepped in. I tip tied over and caught the door. It was an inch away from closing. I stayed put against the door hoping they wouldn't see me.
       "Jake." My mother said quietly.
     "Queen Elizabeth." He said dryly.
"We want to know about your father's plans." My sister said soft, but confident. I tried my best to get a glimpse of there faces.
The only one I saw was Jake's. What shocked me was that his eyes were locked on me, a smile formed on his face for only a millisecond. He had seen me...
"Why do you wish to know?" He asked innocently.
"You know why." My mother hissed, stepping forward.
Jake sighed. "He plans to continue to over throw you until there is none left. Which I'm sure Izze told you." He said sternly.
"That's it you can tell us?" Adrianna asked quietly. Jake shrugged his shoulders at her and quickly glanced at me. Before turning his attention back to them.
"Soon is all I know." He says.
Adrianna lets out a loud gasp. Her fingers run through her hair as she starts to hyperventilate.
"How soon?" She says all in a rush. As she continues to panic.
"I don't know." Jake confessed. "All I knew was it was sometime around your birthday."
"What do we do?" Adrianna asks our mother.
Her face was turned and stayed on Jake's. "We are going to end this...."
My eyes stay on Jake's face. Watching for his answer or even faint expression. His eyes dart to me, as if to say a warning or something like that. As if he wanted me to leave right away.
Hoping that my prediction was right, I slipped away. Leaving the area and going anywhere, but the dungeon.

   For now...
