"Get up!" A voice shouted.
I shot up in a instant. My head was spinning and I was confused. The I remembered where I was. Back in the deathly castle with its gloomy black stone walls...
I glared at the guard who stood in front of me. He looked angry. Very angry.
"Yes?" I say, my voice felt dry.
"We are late because you wouldn't wake up." He snapped. I recognized he was the one who implied Sean as my...boyfriend. It made me shudder at the thought of ever being with Sean.
I stood up and crossed my arms. Somehow feeling an overwhelm of confidence. "Well I'm sorry if I wanted to sleep instead of being aware of my awful surroundings."
The last part was somewhat true. Even though I didn't want to be here, I wouldn't lie. The decor wasn't half bad. I looked up at the guard to see his face reddening with anger.
"Get dressed now." He said through gritted teeth.
He made me shudder a little. My voice came out shaky, but calm, "There's nothing to wear."
He then stormed over to a table in the corner and grabbed a pair of clothes that must have been left after I fell asleep.
The boy shoved them into me, "Put them on, I'll be back in ten minutes."
He slammed the door shut and I was alone in the giant room. I crumbled to the floor, tears slipped down my cheeks. Right now I wish I was back with my family. I closed my eyes and tried to imagine them...

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday dear Rachel, happy birthday to you!" Voices sang throughout the room.
It was my tenth birthday. Almost everyone from the village was there to celebrate. There were so many faces in front of me. Smiling and laughing with joy.
In the middle were my parents. My dad was tall, towering over most people.
His light brown hair smooth on his head, his glasses towards the brim of his nose.
My mom, her short little self stood smiling widely. Her reddish blonde hair tied in a messy bun.
My mom stepped forward holding a small gift wrapped in thin brown wrapping paper. "happy tenth birthday Rach." She said and kissed me head.
I unwrapped the present. All eyes were on me. My eyes traveled over a pair of light blue earrings. The almost exact shade of my eyes.
I jumped out of my seat at the wooden table and hugged them. We stayed in that embraced for what I wish could be forever...

We walked down the halls silently. Two guards on either side. We passed a hall that looked vaguely familiar.
Our feet scuffed against the stone floors. The grey stone floors made the walls look like they could swallow you whole.
We stopped in front of a door that looked familiar. I just couldn't put my finger on it. I guess I didn't recognize it. For it was just a tall and old wooden door.
"In there." A guard huffed, pushing me forward. I stopped right in front of it. My hand grabbed the knob and I swung it open.
A figure was slumped against the wall. Before I could process I was shoved further in the empty room. My body slid across the floor, several feet away from the figure. The door slammed shut leaving us alone.
"Have you come here to give me your pity for have locking me up?" The voice grumbled. It sounded dead and strained. As if they hadn't used their voice in weeks.
I got up and took a step forward. Wary of them, for I know they could kill me as their way out.
"I'm locked up too, you're not the only one." I say looking towards the window.
I blinked and memories came flowing back. This was the room they locked the six of us in. That was the window we broke out of, jumped down trees and sprinted across the giant field just to escape.
"You look so familiar, I swear it on Annie and Lily's life."
I whirl around and look at the green eyes that I've know since my village was destroyed.
"Sean?" I whisper.
He stands up and narrows his eyes at me. It was silent as he stared down at me. I squirm under his gaze until he clears his throat.
"Rachel?" He says.
I walk up to him and hug him. Tears threatening to spill from my eyes. I let them fall, soaking his dark grey shirt.
Carefully I step back and wipe my eyes. "What are you doing here?"
"I could ask you the same thing." He says slipping his hands in his pockets.
I step forward crossing my arms. My mouth opens to say something, but all I hear is Sean's voice. I look up at him. He's looking down at his feet as he talking.
"—and Lily were left with Emmett. When they took me it felt off. I was so lost and everything.."
I step forward two steps and look at him. "Sea—"
"No. Why are you here, tell me that.." Sean says.
I shake my head, "Sean that doesn't matter. I got here almost the same as you. But what's important is getting out."
He looks at me as if I grew two heads. I walk over to the window that we had smashed. Small wooden boards that I didn't notice before we plastered up.
I grabbed onto them and pulled. My hands let loose and I flung back, landing in a warm cage. I looked down and saw Sean's arms wrapped around me.
Carefully I stood up and walked back over. "They are so stupid. They put us in this room again and all they did was board up the broken glass."
I slipped my boot off, ready to slam the glass, but Sean grabbed my arm and spun me around. "Hold up, been here before..?"
"I uh yeah...." I reply quietly.
"Why didn't you tell me? Was that when you all disappeared?" Anger and confusion laced his voice. His hand tightened on my arm. Probably going to leave red marks...
"Sean why are you getting is angry?" I ask.
"Because all you guys did was keep secrets from me! I felt like I was ghost!" He yelled, his face slowly turning red with anger.
I quickly slipped my hand away and backed towards the window. My boot still in my left hand. His chest rose up and down as he breathed fast.
He looked at me feeling lost. I turned around and swung. The glass shattering at my feet. I turned toward his defeated figure.
"Sean I'm sorry, but I'm leaving. I don't want to be stuck here forever. You can come with me or rot with William and his evil son."
I look out at the vines we used the last time we were, held here.
"Wait." Sean called from behind. I turned to look at him. He nodded towards the window, "Im coming with you." I smiled.
"Jump to the vine and get down to the tree branches. " I say.
Sean nods and follows my lead.
