Chapter 8: adrianna

      I looked out my bedroom window and watched the breeze blow the tree branches around. Sighing, I get up from my couch and go out into the hall. I guess I'll go see how Sarah is. So I head to her room. Once I get there I knock twice and wait.
No answer.
I turn the knob and push the door open so I can see in. Sarah's room was empty.
"If you're looking for Sarah, she's in the garden with your cousin." I whirled around to see who it was. It was one of the maids, Melody. She was a bit older than Nora.
  "Oh, hello Melody." I say.
"Hello princess Adrianna. If you want to see them you better get going to the garden." Melody tells me.
  "Okay, thanks!" I tell her and start towards the garden.
I walk quickly saying hi to everyone that passes by. Once I got to the end of the hallway I turned left. At the end of this hallway are the doors to the garden. When I got there the guards nod and open the doors for me to pass.
  It was a bit chilly, but I didn't mind. In the middle of the garden I saw Rachel and Sarah laughing and talking. Rachel turned her head and waved at me.
  "Adrianaaaaaa!!!" Rachel yells.
I laugh, "Rachellll!!!"
  She hugs me and pulls up another bench for me to sit on. I sit down and study the cover of the book.
  "You like fairy books?" I ask Sarah.
She blushes, "Yeah why?"
  "Just wondering, that's all." I reply.
  We talked for a bit about some things we liked to do because there wasn't really anything else to talk about. After a while during on of our conversations we were interrupted.
  "Do you know where Izze is?" Collin asked panting.
"First off, why do you look like you just ran a mile?" Rachel asked Collin.
"I do because I was running around looking for Izze. Now have you seen her or not?" Collin asked.
"What do you mean you can't find Izze?" Sarah asked.
"I mean she is gone. I can't find her." Collin replied.
"Do you have dad looking too?" I ask him.
"Are you crazy?!?!?" Collin said almost yelling.
"What?" I ask.

                                                                                                                                      

"DAD...DOESN'T...KNOW..." He slowly yelled because he obviously thought I was stupid.
  "She's not dumb, you idiot." Rachel told him.
  "Ok where was the last place we all saw Izze?" Sarah asked.
"Collin and I saw her in the dining room earlier today, but then I don't know where she went after that." Rachel said.
  "I did too." I added.
"How about you ask people like the coachmen or servants." Sarah said.
  "Ooo! I call asking the coachmen." Rachel said excitedly.
  We all gave her an odd look...
"What? I like the smell of the stables." Rachel says. Collin laughs at Rachel. Soon we are all laughing.
  "Okay let's go find my sister!" I say and put my hand out. Sarah puts her on top of mine. Then Rachel and then my brother.
We split up in twos. Collin and Rachel, and Sarah and I. We went upstairs and asked servants if they saw Izze. Nobody said they did.
  "Let's look in her room." Sarah suggested. I nodded and led the way to Isabella's room. Slowly we pushed her doors open. We looked around, but nobody was in here.
  "Downstairs?" Sarah asked. I nodded and we headed down the staircase. Again after asking all the servants we didn't find any answers.
  "This is hopeless!" I said slumping down onto the ground.
Sarah sat down beside me and patted me on the back.
   "We don't think it's hopeless." Collin said. I looked up at him and he and Rachel were smiling real big.
  "Why are you smiling?" I asked.
  "Cause we know where she is.." Rachel said.
  I shot up and hugged them both.  They hugged me back.
   Next we headed outside and got into a carriage and headed to a place I haven't been since Christmas.
  My grandparents kingdom...
    "Nervous?" Collin asked me.
   "Kind of.."
  "Don't be it will be fine. We'll find Izze." Collin said putting an arm around me.
  We sat in silence. The coachman was the first to break it.
   "Here we are. Queen Isabella and King Nicholas's kingdom.."
    "Thank you!" All four of us say and run up to the big wooden doors.
