3rd Person POV
Katy was clueless most of her life. Her parents died in a car wreak when she was 3 weeks old, so she ended up in an orphanage. Katy lived there until she was 14, when an old couple adopted her. Sadly things didn't get better for Katy. They treated her like a slave. Everytime she didn't do something right she got whipped in the back. If she wasn't whipped then she was beaten. She ran away when she was 18. She then got a job and lived on her own, while attending school. After going up in an orphanage and having abusive adopted parents, she had extreme insecurities and trust issues. The people at her job hear her sing as she cleaned during the day, so they got her an audition at Pledis Entertainment. Katy gladly took the offer. When she got there she made friends and grew a passion for singing. She was afraid to trust people. All, but one that is.
