Chapter 32- Why Can't You Stay?

DK's POV

We are so close to our debut. I can't wait. I feel as if this will be the biggest moment of my whole life. Everything that we have worked so hard for is going to pay off. I'm so excited that I can hardly keep my cool. I am currently skipping around the hall ways and singing loudly. I then suddenly bumped into someone. It was a girl. She had long brown hair, pale white skin, and a small figure.

"I'm sorry." I said with a smile as I helped her up.

"It's ok. I was reading so I wasn't paying attention." She said. I then crouched down and picked up her book. It was Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

"This looks like a long book." I said as I handed it back to her.

"The movies take longer." She said as she grabbed the book.

"There are movies? As in more than one?" I asked in shock.

"Yes, this is the 6th book in the series." She said.

"Wow." I said. "So what brings you to Pledis?" I asked.

"I'm in a band here."

"Me too." I said excitedly.

"My band is called Rhythm." She said.

"My band's name is Seventeen." I said. "When do you debut?" I asked.

"Tomorrow." She said with a sigh. "I'm really nervous." She said.

"My band debuts in a week." I said.

"I'm sorry, but I must be going." She said after checking her watch. She ran past me and before she was out of sight I called out to her.

"WAIT! I NEVER GOT YOUR NAME!" I shouted.

"MY NAMES KATY!" She yelled back.

"MY NAMES DK!" I shouted.

"SEE YOU AROUND DK!" She shouted. After that I watched her until she disappeared. I smiled to myself. That smile quickly turned into a frown. Why did she have to be leaving so soon?
