Yo! Wazzup?

Well, the other day I was playing a game of truth or dare with someone on here and I got asked if I had any fetishes.

I wasn't really sure what that was, so I asked. She told me that it was 'Something that you like in a sexual partner that others normally don't."

I answered her question and the game continued.
However, I kept on thinking of her reply. What did she mean by 'normally'? How do I know what's normal?

This stuck with me for a few days. What if you think it's normal, but it isn't considered such? How are you supposed to know what people 'normally' like in their sexual partners? This led me to another question.

What is normal?

Is normal just something that's generally accepted? What if mostly everybody in your community does the same thing. Is that considered 'normal'?
If you do something others usually don't, is that abnormal?

Is it normal to do what others do? Be a follower?
Or is it normal to be yourself? A leader?

What about the leaders that 'normal' people follow? Why are they considered normal?

Relating back to fetishes, what if mostly everyone in your community prefers a certain fetish? Will it still be considered a fetish? Because it will be considered normal. No?
What if a neighbouring community mostly has another type of fetish? Will  we be abnormal to them? Will they be abnormal to us? This keeps on going, cities, countries.

Who defines what's normal?

The leaders? Why do they get to choose?

In my opinion being normal is being yourself, irregardless of what others think of you. You get to choose what's normal. It's all up to you. You do you. You be you.

From now onwards, I'll rather use the word 'usual' instead of 'normal'.

Question of the chapter: What's your opinion of this topic? I really want to hear. Share it in the comments section!
