"Joey, think hard. You said you were able to create things easily. Have you ever given life to them before?" Ara asked.
"I don't remember. But, my mother said I had been doing it since I was two," he said.
"Try it again. Use your concentration," Ara prodded him persuasively.
Pietro looked at the glorious statue standing before him. Every part resembled Isis. What had gone wrong? Mushik was examining the same from Pietro's shoulder too.

"Pietro," Mushi called, "there is no halo," he said looking up at the statue.
"Halo?" Pietro wondered and gasped. "Yes. Joey. There is no halo. That is the mistake. There is no halo behind her head. You have created objects and given life to them. They were normal animals. Isis is a God. The mother of all. She needs a Halo," he talked breathlessly.
Joey looked up confused, "how can I create a halo?"
"You can't," Mushi said, "only an angel or a God's power can create it. You should get the power source. The Lotus of Life."
"The Lotus of Life" Ara gasped.
"Yes. It is in the possession of Goddess Quan. She is the empress of death. If you get the Lotus of Life and place it on Isis's head, she will come to life automatically," Mushi said.
"We don't have that much time," Joey said worried.
"My friend. You did the impossible already. Try till the last. Why lose hope?" Pietro asked.
"You have to go past the ice river to reach her," Ara said.
"No human could bear such cold," Mushi said.
"I have to try. God Akurath had blessed me with enormous strength for a reason," Joey said getting ready to go there.
"I will come with you," Pietro said taking hold of Cerberus, "he will come in handy," he said. He waved his hand and they were standing in front of the ice river.
Joey was in the middle and Ara and Pietro were covering his front and back. Mushi was on Joeys shoulder and Cerberus was with Pietro.
"Just cross the river and you can see Goddess Quan on the other side. She is a divine female and a warrior Goddess," Pietro said.
Joey saw something like a shark moving under the ice. He took his first step. His leg stuck to the ice. It was terribly cold. Cerberus came near his leg and breathed fire. The ice melted.
"Quickly Joey. Your body won't last long in this cold. Run," Mushi warned. Joey started moving fast. A huge ice monster in the shape of a piranha fish popped up before them. Ara attacked it with her staff. Another one appeared at the back. Pietro handled it. Cerberus started running making way in front by breathing fire and Joey followed it swiftly.
He was panting heavily within two steps. It was terribly cold and he couldn't move. He fell down losing balance. Daniel's face popped up from the ice suddenly.

The face had a very sarcastic look and his eyes were still dark. "Danny, what are you doing here under the ice? You will die," Joey tried to pulled him up. All the parts of his body except Daniel's face was frozen under the ice.
He gave out a demonic laugh once again, "Indeed he will die. Now. In front of your eyes. Your quest is useless." All the ice surrounding Daniels body burst into numerous pieces and flew to pierce him.
"No. Do not kill him," Joey unleashed his magic unintentionally, releasing a massive heat wave and time froze for a moment. All the shattered icicles melted. Only the heat wave persisted in the barren land where the ice river lay before a moment. Daniel's body was harmless. They heard a wild deafening roar and Daniel's body disappeared instantly.
"Shooni got you," Mushi said, "he purposely made you melt all the ice. Goddess Quan is angry you meddled with her property now."
The ice monsters Pietro and Ara were fighting stood confused for a moment and pounced on Joey, angry that he melted all the ice.
