A bunch of Piranha sea monsters pounced on Joey abandoning Ara and Pietro. Joey was quick to act. He waved his hand and created a huge rope. He twirled it extremely fast capturing all of them together in a knot. The rope swung far from his motion. The Piranha's were about to dashed into the bare ground devoid of all ice.
But, Joey stopped the rope in the last moment. He created a small stream, lowered the rope and sealed the top with ice once again.
"I don't want any unnecessary death. I just want to save my Danny," he said to Ara looking quizzically at him. He started creating ice again running towards Goddess Quan's adobe. He was pushed away from the entrance by a fierce hand.
Goddess Quan stood there in all her mighty with 14 hands, each holding unique weapons.
"This is goddess Quan Yin or Kali, the incarnation of darkness itself. She kills to make way for new life in the universe," Mushi said bowing before her.

The Goddess folded two of her hands and returned the bow to Mushi while all other hands started attacking Joey involuntarily.
An enormously huge blade passed in a hair's breath from Joey's neck. Ara hid herself behind an ice rock while Pietro too bowed in respect before her.
"I come in peace mother. All I seek is a way to save my lineage. My lovers life. Please help me," Joey rolled around defending himself and pleaded with her. He continued to create the ice he had melted, whilst defending himself with the same ice.
"You foolish human? How dare you come to my adobe and mess with my river? You are talking to the Goddess of death. Everything that is born should die. Your lover is no exception," she threw all her weapons at Joey at once.
Joey crouched into the ground defending himself with his shield. He sprung up in a moment, jumped on the weapons and the ice rocks using them like stairs and swung his rope again tying all her hands. Two axes started moving like a pendulum from her hips and huge iron balls started to fly from her legs and shoulder.
Joey did a full twist to escape the axes. "Thanks to my gymnastic classes in school," he thought. He caught the iron balls one by one with his hand and dropped them down. His superhuman strength made it seem like a ball for him. Next came the slings aimed directly at his legs. Joey moved in time to let is pass without touching him.
He decided he had played enough defense. He twirled with enormous speed up and down, tying her and finally pulled her legs together with the rope rendering her immobile.
"You kill to make way for new creation mother. My Daniel's death will do no such thing. Please help me. Take my life. But, spare him," he bowed before her, releasing her.
The Goddess shrugged herself out of the rope and looked at him curiously. Her expressions changed. "God Akurath's strength," she said. She came to her normal form.
