Eva's POV

I sighed as I exited history class. Harry wasn't here today, which made me nervous because he wouldn't answer my texts either. I tried not to worry about it too much as I walked to my locker. It was lunch now and I wanted to get to the library as quick as possible so I could avoid running into people.

I sighed in relief as I made it too my locker. I opened it quickly and began to trade in my books for my chem stuff. I had a test coming up, and normally Harry would help me study but as he wasn't here, I had to go it alone.

I was scared.

I found myself absently chewing on my lip as I rummaged around in my locker for my highlighter, textbook and notebook. I managed to scavenge the textbook and notebook, but was looking around for my highlighter when a body slid next to me. I smiled and looked towards it thinking it was Harry only to frown when I saw the face of the mystery person.

"Hey," Niall smirked. I sighed and looked back to my locker, continuing my search for the yellow pen.

"Whatcha looking for?" he asked. I rolled my eyes.

"My highlighter," I said. He nodded and slipped his hands into his pockets.

"You can borrow mine if you'd like," he offered. I looked at him with a raised eyebrow, watching as he smiled and reached into his backpack that he had brought in front of him. He rummaged around for a while until he brought out a small yellow highlighter. I gingerly took it from him, offering a smile in return.

"Thanks," I said, "for the pen."

He nodded and shrugged, "it's no problem."

I nodded in reply and I stood there, waiting for him to leave. I looked around awkwardly as seconds of silence passed through us. He was about to say something when he was interrupted by a pair of arms wrapping themselves around my waist. I jolted and was about to turn around until I felt a pair of lips press themselves to my temple.

"Hi baby," Harry whispered into my ear, pecking my neck. I turned in his hold to face him. I furrowed my eyebrows as I frowned at him.

"Where were you?"

"I had a doctor's appointment, Eva," he replied, "I forgot to tell you. Sorry."

I sighed and nodded, "it's okay."

"What are you doing here, Horan?" Harry asked, wrapping an arm around my shoulder as I turned around to face him again. Niall looked at me and then back at Harry with a stoic expression before he replied.

"Wanted to talk to Eva, is all."

"I see," Harry hummed, "well if you don't mind, I'll just steal her from you and take her with me."

Niall shrugged, "Oh Eva, by the way, I wanted to ask you something."

I furrowed my eyebrows and nodded, "what?"

"We were wondering if you wanted to hang out, my friends and I. Harry, you can come too," he offered. I rose an eyebrow and looked up at Harry who shook his head.

"I don't think so, mate."

Niall shrugged and walked off to his locker just down the hall. I turned around to face Harry with a shrug.

There was nobody in the hall now, except for the three of us. I'm guessing everyone was at the cafeteria or out on the grounds.

"I have no idea what that was about-"

I didn't have time to finish my sentence because I was pushed up against the lockers as Harry pressed his lips to mine. He kissed me with an urgency and passion as he wrapped his hands around my waist. I still held my textbook to my chest so it was wedged between us, acting as a barrier. Harry noticed this and groaned before he grabbed a hold of my books and dropped them to the ground next to us. He then cupped my face in his hands as he continued to mold his lips against mine.

I was lost, confused and pleasantly surprised. I felt my eyes flutter closed as I let myself relax into the kiss and I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer to me as he kissed my upper lip, then my lower lip and then my upper lip again.

He pulled away, panting with his arms wrapped tightly around my waist, looking at my lips. He slowly ran his tongue over his lips and looked into my eyes before he moved his gaze down to my mouth again. He then hesitated to move back in, before finally closing the distance between us once more.

He kissed me with a want that I had never experienced from him before; it was intriguing yet strange. His tongue massaged mine as I felt myself zone out of reality. In that moment, we weren't in school anymore. We were just by ourselves.

I sighed as he finally pulled away, pecking my nose, before turning to look towards Niall who looked extremely annoyed as he put his books away in his locker, and slammed his door shut as he stormed off in the other direction. Harry smirked to himself as he turned his head back to me, nudging my face lightly before kissing my lips again.

"You're my girl," he whispered, "not his."

"He only asked to hang out."

He tightened his grip on my waist as he shook his head and pressed himself against me more, pushing my body into the lockers, "I don't care."

I smiled as I reached up to peck his nose. He smirked lightly and pecked my lips once, twice and a third time before he let me go and stepped back. He bent down to pick up my books and smiled as he held them. He then stepped back and ushered his hand forward as he gestured for me to go. I smiled and bent down to pick up the highlighter that Niall lent me.

Harry grabbed that too.

"I'll carry your stuff," he mumbled, as he looked down and tried to arrange everything in his hands. He bit his lip as he concentrated on not dropping anything and I smiled because he looked so cute. I held his free hand as we walked down the hallway, making our way to the library.

On the way there, I peeked inside of one of the classrooms and saw Madison sitting on one of the desks laughing with her friends. She glanced towards the door as I passed and glanced to Harry before she rose her eyebrow and shrugged.

I frowned as I thought of what she said.

I sighed before I stopped in the hallway, looking at Harry as he turned to look at me with confusion.

"What is it, baby?" he asked. I bit my lip and looked at him.

I should talk to him about this. Nothing good will come out of this if I don't talk to him.

"Madison told me something.."
