Huff... huff... huff...

Of all the days for the elevator to be down, it had to be when I ran home. It was almost as if the universe hated me for some reason. Recalling the events of today, I couldn't help but start plotting how to get back at my hyungs, until flashes of the girl from earlier popped into my head.

Hm... I guess the universe doesn't hate me that much after all.

After five flights of stairs, I still found myself panting in front of my dorm. Gathering up all my remaining energy, I knocked on the door.

Taehyung answered the door and immediately pulled me into a tight hug. "Kookie! Our precious maknae—"

"Look! We bought you your favorite!" Yoongi hyung and the rest of them, appeared behind Tae holding up a tray of lamb skewers. My mouth watered at the sight of it.

"You guys are lucky I'm tired." I grabbed the tray and went straight to our living room. The rest followed and flopped into our couch.

As my butt hit the seat, I felt something was off. Trying to figure out what was wrong I started patting around my pockets until then I realized.

"I lost my wallet."

"Jungkook, it better not be the Gucci wallet I gifted you," Taehyung replied to my growing distress.

I take that back, the universe does hate me.

"Daebak... The wallet's Gucci! The guy must be rich since he can afford to have good taste." Jennie said while examining the unopened wallet on our coffee table.

"Or, he could just be show-off who owns a very good knock-off, since he would've taken better care of it if it was real." Chaeng countered, also trying to decipher the mystery of the wallet's owner.

Jisoo then grabs the wallet then weighs the object on her palms.

"Well, let's see... Okay, the wallet is lighter than expected, so he must be like Chae said—wait... Ani! Rich people only carry cards right?

"Unnie!" I immediately grabbed the wallet out of Jisoo's hand. "We shouldn't handle this thing so carelessly! And why do all of you only care if the person's rich or not huh?" I teasingly asked them.

"Lisa! are you implying we're gold diggers?" Chaeyoung faking offense threw a pillow at my direction.

"Well if you just opened it right away and look for some identification, then we wouldn't go all Sherlock Holmes on this wallet," Jennie suggested.

"No! My eomma always taught me to respect people's privacies!"

Jennie and the rest of the girls just sighed in defeat.

"Well, you better just take it to the at the bus station then—they have a place where they keep lost properties," Rosé said. "Ya, we should go eat dinner!"

"Yeah." We agreed in unison. The girls went straight to kitchens while I headed to my room to drop off the wallet on my desk. Satisfied with where I placed it, the smell of Gamjatang filled my nostrils.

As if controlled by the delicious scent, I quickly found myself seated in front of a big hot bowl of the stew. Mashittda!

While eating, I couldn't help but think back to what happened yesterday. The stranger doesn't seem to be a show-off like Chaeng suggested. In fact, he seems to be very kind and humble... Since he let me sleep on his shoulder. And how can I forget how pretty his eyes were when he smiled underneath his mask...
