"You have an early flight tomorrow! Yet, you want to go out?" Sejin hyung expressed in disbelief. "And don't you think it's too dangerous to drive this late?"
As the last words of his question left his mouth, he let out a big yawn. Noticing his disheveled hair and attire, I started to feel guilty knocking on his apartment at this hour.
With the intention of being easily accessible to attend to Bangtan's needs at all times, manager hyung has been living in the same building as our dorms.
Throughout the years, not once has he complained about the set-up—but judging by the disgruntled look on his face, that might change tonight.
"Hyung, please!" I pleaded, trying to convince him to let me borrow his car once again. "I just want to cruise arou—" Before I could finish my sentence, he slams the door in my face empty-handed.
I knew this situation could easily be prevented if I just bought my own car. But in this industry, an idol buying his own ride practically announces to the public "Hey! I bought this car just so I could go on dates with my girlfriend!"
That may not be the case, yet—but I'd have no choice but be stuck in this ordeal.
Sighing in defeat, I turned my heel and faced the end of the hallway. But just as I was about to leave my spot, the door opened. What greeted me was still the same annoyed Sejin hyung, only this time, he was an annoyed manager holding out his car keys.
"I swear, I miss the days when you didn't leave your room because of gaming," He said while unenthusiastically dropping his keys on my ready palms. "Now, go! Don't wake me up anymore."

Arriving at the familiar apartment complex I've come to know so well, I parked at a secluded corner of the parking lot. Not wasting any moment, I sent Lisa a text, notifying her my arrival.
After months of conflicting schedules, this would be the very first time I'll see Lisa in person—instead of just settling to admire her pictures every time she updates her group's Instagram. Waiting patiently in my seat I thrummed my fingers on the steering wheel.
Then suddenly, I heard loud thuds against the window causing me to scream. Pulling my eyes away from my phone, I saw that there was a person outside. Because of the darkness, I could only make out a large ominous silhouette.
The stranger continued to tap against the window, causing me to sink further into my seat in fear.
Unexpectedly, the person stopped and pressed its face into the window to have a better view inside. "Lisa?"
Upon realizing her identity, I instantly unlocked the door, letting her in. "Ya! What took you so long to open your door? I almost thought I got the wrong car."
Finally getting a better look at her, I couldn't stop the laugh that escaped my mouth. In my chuckling mess, she immediately sent a glare my way.
She was wearing a full-length puffer jacket that reached up to her ankles. She tied the drawstrings of her hoodie so tight, it was only her cute chubby cheeks that was visible.
"Ya! Why are you laughing?"
"I-it's because you look like a marshmallow." I managed to say between breaths, which naturally earned a hard slap on my shoulder.
Because of my teasing, she put her hood down and removed her comical puffer jacket. She huffed in annoyance while she crossed her arms. "What made you dress in all these layers?" I asked after calming down.
