CHAPTER 5
It was late afternoon and Skyler was looking through her closet trying find clothes to wear for the next two days. Sandra sat on her bed with a silver HP Dell lab top listening to music and chatting with friends on Facebook. Skyler then looked back at Sandra holding a pair of jeans and a nice ruffle floral top.
“What about these?”
Sandra looked up from the computer to the clothing in Skyler's hands and nodded.
“Yup wear that tomorrow. Oh and on friday wear that nice white collar dress shirt I got you. I think it will be a good turn on for John.”
Skyler rolled her eyes at her as she placed the clothes back into her closet and walked up to her bed and sat next to Sandra. She leaned against the wall as she then looked over the computer and saw Sandra chatting with Matt. Sandra then sighed and looked at Skyler with a disappointing look.
“What?”
“Matt cancelled on me. Apparently he has a family dinner he has to go to. This sucks and I was really looking forward to dancing with him at Extreme.”
“Don't worry I bet you'll find another date to go with you.”
Sandra sighed and pouted as Skyler nudged her and gave her a smile.
“Or you could meet a cuter guy at Extreme too. What do you say about a girls night out tomorrow?”
Sandra smiled and nodded. Skyler then smiled and took the lab top and closed Facebook and turned up the music from the computer.
“Lets have as much fun as possible tomorrow. I want to leave with a good memory of you.”
Sandra nodded as got off from the bed and lifted up the blinds of Skyler's window revealing the setting sun. She sighed and looked from out the window then to Skyler and said,
“I can't believe your finally moving. It was like just yesterday that you told me the news when really it was like three months ago. I'm going to miss you a lot. I don't know what I'm going to do without my other half.”
“Don't worry well always keep in touch I promise you.”
Suddenly an idea popped into Sandra's mind that made her smile widely.
“What if I move too! I mean dad practicality works down there and he's hardly home. Mom was talking about moving down there. What if we do it. You know I go with you.”
Skyler gave Sandra a strange look of are you crazy and shook her head.
“Don't you think its kinda sudden. I mean what is your mom going to say. She really doesn't much like the idea of you hanging out with me in the first place. Now moving just to be with me. No I think its a bad idea.”
