CHAPTER 13
Skyler sat on the table's chair and slowly drank a glass of water. The water fell smoothly down her throat quenching her thirst. She sighed trying hard to place her memories together in order, but the more she tried the bigger the headache became. Vitcus then pulled up a chair beside her and looked at her with great happiness and excitement. Jasmine leaned against the skin as she watched Skyler and Vitcus sit together at the table.
“How are you feeling.” asked Vitcus as Skyler held her head and said,
“Like my head is rocking back and for on a boat.”
Vitcus poured her another glass of water and handed it back to her where she took it and took small sips trying to relax her head.
“Don't worry you'll feel better in a little while.”
Skyler then looked back at Vitcus and looked at him very closely trying hard to recall where she had meet him.
“It was at a dance.”
Skyler looked surprised as she then shook her head and said,
“I have to remember myself to get used to that.”
Vitcus laughed as he then said,
“Trust me you are already, it's just going take sometime for you to regain them.”
Skyler then smiled as she then looked down at the glass of water that reflected her image. She then sighed and looked up at the ceiling and said,
“For how long have I been hidden?”
Vitcus was surprised as he then looked back at Jasmine who also looked shocked. She then nodded as he looked back at Skyler as she looked at both of them for answer.
“For a few months now. Three I believe.” said Vitcus as Skyler looked stunned and looked from one to the another.
“Three months! Why didn't you come get me!” said Skyler with concern as Vitcus then placed his hands over Skyler's and said,
“We did, many times actually, but every time I tried to regain your memories someone was ready to erase them.”
Skyler then remember the conversation she had with Vitcus when she thought she had meet him for the first time.
“Wait so when you said that you have lost someone many times were you talking about me.”
Vitcus looked away and nodded. Skyler then leaned forward a little to see Vitcus expression and was surprised to see his expression. Was he really that upset that he couldn't bring her back to him. Skyler then held his hands tightly and said,
“I'm sorry. I let my guard down.”
He then looked back at Skyler who looked down at her hands over his and realized that some of the feeling from the memories were now slowly returning to Skyler. He then smiled as Jasmine then took a step forward and said,
