Rin's POV

I watch the the slowly-moving view from the window of the bus I was currently riding in. It has been aproximately six minutes since I rode on this vehicle. Six boring minutes of blankly staring at the buildings and shops we passed by. And by kami this is boring! With nothing else to do but staring outside I silenly predicted my death. Death by boredom. It may be a nice headline for the daily newspaper.

"Random lady dies of boredom on a bus in the middle of summer".

If it isn't obvious already I might as well shout out to the whole world that I am a very impatient woman and I hate waiting. And this ride looks like it's taking it's sweet time in getting to my destination. Did I mention it was boring? And it wasn't even halfway to where I'm supposed to go.

I tap the window still in irritation with my left hand and the other supporting my chin as I stare at the window wishing it to melt soon so I could feel the warm breeze outside. Oh wait! On a second though I wouldn't want that. I am enjoying the air conditioning this lump of metal is providing while shielding it's occupants from the raging heat outside. It was currently summer and the heat index for to day was 33°c, or so the news said. So yes, I would rather die from boredom than from the heat.

I tucked my blonde hair behind my ear when it fell out of place. It was then I remembered that I didn't put clips on it today. I was already running late for my appointment this morning. I knew the city had traffic on weekends so I need to be earlier than usual if I wanted to drive there on time. Then my car broke down before I could even get out of the neigbourhood I was living in. Result: Me currently riding a public transport on an especially busy day.

And I am already running late.

I sigh and take out two white hair pins and clip them to my hair so they don't fall off.
I wonder if my he would get angry at me running late.

Bah! I know he won't. I mean, he is my best friend. Maybe irritated at the push of schedule. Knowing him, once he learns about the traffic, he'll be cursing car engineers, traffic enforcers and destiny itself. Either of them anyway.

I got a bit startled as my phone vibrated indicating that someone called me. I smiled as I read the caller I.D.

'Bananna King calling...'

Yup! It was definitely Len. A wave of nostalgia hit me as I remember how that caller I.D. was named. We were lounging in his house one day. I named it that way to insult him. To my suprise he just smiled and said that it was very creative, I noted his sarcasm. Then he fished out his phone and started to type in a fast pace. When I looked at what he was doing, I saw that he named my contact 'BOranging'. I raised a brow at the weirdness of the name. He then explained to me that he thought of that nickname because of my love for oranges and with me being boring in general. I could not help but chase him with a random book I found lying in the house for the heck of it.

I pushed that memory aside for the meantime and answered the call. Just as I was about to say hello he cut me off.

"Where are you?!" He screamed so loud that I needed to pull the phone away from my ear for a moment to prevent my ears from being damaged. I could faintly hear the pink haired woman who was sitting near me chuckle.

"Are you okay? What happened to you? Are you sick? Did you get into an accident? Do I need to go to you? How many times did I tell you to take care of yourself so you wouldn't die earlier than that is absolutely necessary!" He blabbered on. Honestly this guy needs to lay of sometimes.

"Would you calm down Len! I'm not dead yet. But you will be if you don't stop being a walking stresstab."

"But your already 10 minutes late. Your barely late to anything."
