Tessa's POV

I was running. I felt the tree beached scratch my face as I ran along the dirt road. My feet pounded against the ground, and my heart was racing. I saw car lights behind me and knew Charles was here. I began to scream when...

Chance-"Tessa! Tessa wake up!"

I was shook awake by Chance. I flew into his warm arms and looked into his green eyes. I leaned in and we kissed. We continued to kiss until things got heated. I slowly pulled off his shirt while our lips moved in sync. He began to take off my shirt when I pulled away.

Tessa-"Not here.."

Chance-"Oh okay."

Erikas POV

I missed my sally Joe (Erika is speaking in a county accent)so much. ( her normal voice) I just wish I could see her. I called an uber and went to the hospital. I ran up to her room and found her on the bed with, Chance.

Tessa-"I missed you pickle!"

Erika-"Same when did you wake up!"

Tessa-"last night!"

I ran to her arms and gave her a huge hug. I didn't care that my body was in pain, I was just so happy to see my best friend.

Doctor-"Tessa is free to go!"

Chances POV

I helped Tessa out of the hospital and put her into the uber. She seemed okay.

An hour later...

Chance-Where r u?

Tessa-Upstairs in my room. Why?

Chance-just checking in

Tessa-are we just friends or...

Chance-well I thought we were friends😉😘😏

Tessa-shut up😂

Chance-You know it's true

Tessa-yeah...

Tessa- can u come up here?

Chance-.......

Tessa's POV

I heard someone open my door. I looked and saw Chance smiling. He sat down next to me and I hugged him without saying a word. We sat on my bed in silence.

Tessa-"Will you stay with me?"

Chance-"Sure why?"

Tessa-"I want to sleep.... but I'm sort of scared."

Chance-"don't worry, I'm here. I won't let anything happen to you."

I smiled at Chance and blushed a deep shade of purple.

My eyes began to feel heavy and I drifted off to sleep, knowing that for once I was safe.
